I tried reading Atlantia, but I stopped after I was 2/3rds through. I just couldn't get into the story.
Just finished
for
. I gave it 4 stars. This series appeases my love for romance and hockey, and I enjoyed this book more than the last.
Random Book List #219For this week I finished reading Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor and it was ok. The first half of the first book in the series was great and then for some reason the story just died halfway through and I lost all interest in it. The second book was better, I felt like I was able to stick with the storyline in this one. I gave it 4 stars.
Random Book List #224Goal: Read ONE book from the list within a four-week period. Post a brief commentary about the book you read.
Based on
Dreams of Gods & Monsters by Laini Taylor, here is our new list: Duration: February 10 - March 10, 2015

I'm going to read
for
.I'm also interested in
,
, and
so I might read one or more of these as well, depending on availability.
finished
today. 3.5 stars.dead Dresden was sliiiightly boring, but I enjoyed the development and growth of some of the other characters. The deus ex machina in the end was WAY obvious, but ah well. We can't have our favorite wizard be gone forever, what with book 14 and 15 and 16 under contract.... ;)
Finished
today. 4.5 stars. It started out a little slow (I'm blaming the audiobook for that) but I really loved Sam and Jace together even if Sam was a bit of a fool when the drama really started. I don't read a lot of YA novels, but Sam and Jase are (thankfully) very mature 17 year olds.
"Random Book List #224"I finished reading White Night by Jim Butcher and it was as wonderful as always. The only thing I didn't like is when Harry Dresden gets knocked out, they flashback to another time in New Mexico that completely confused me. I was listening to it on Audio and I freaked out because I thought my recording was messed up! I had to look at the kindle version to see that it was a flash back and I hadn't skipped a bunch of the story.
I read three books for this list:
3/2 *****
3/7 ****although the 3rd book I finished after the deadline:
.

Well, I think you can find something interesting here Ezi.
How about Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout? I have read only book #1 but it was fun ya pnr. :)
I finished
on March 30th, 4 stars. Another winner by Sanderson. The only drawback is the next book is due only on 2017!! Highly recommended.
finished
for
. another great installment, especially on the audio front. I'm not a fan of the move to multiple POVs, but I guess the series is evolving...
Random Book List #229I finished reading Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout and gave it 4 stars. It was ok, I kind of felt like the book spent 99% of the time leading up to the one event at the end and then it left me hanging. Which I get the cliff-hanger thing, but I just felt like the majority of the book was just filler.
Read
for this list. Interesting enough, for a series that sort of started blah to me, I really like this one.
Random Book List #234Goal: Read ONE book from the list within a four-week period. Post a brief commentary about the book you read.
Based on
Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout, here is our new list: Duration: April 21-May 19, 2015
All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
Fuzzy Nation by John Scalzi

Ty - 5/12 ****

The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey
Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout (1)Yz - Pure 5/10 ****
The Archived by Victoria Schwab
The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski
Prudence by Gail Carriger (1)Mai - 5/1
Ceaseless by Abbi Glines
Intuition by Amy A. Bartol
So, I finished
- I love Gail Carriger's voice, I liked the main character a lot, but I couldn't really get into the story.
Random Book List #234I read Glitches by Marissa Meyer and gave it 4 stars. I downgraded because it wasn't long enough but oh well. It was a neat little snippet prequel to Cinder so I was happy.
I finished
yesterday. Considering that I read the first book like a couple of years ago, it wasn't hard for me to get back to the storyline. I thought it was fast-paced and the characters are starting to flesh out more. Still cannot shake the Vampire Academy comparison. 4 stars.
I read Glitches for Fairest 5/12. A short but interesting intro into the series. Thanks for the idea Suzanne!

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
The Magician's Land by Lev Grossman
Golden Son by Pierce Brown (1)Kim - Red Rising 6/17 ****
Bridge of Snow by Marie Rutkoski
The Wicked Will Rise by Danielle Paige
I am going to read
for
. I started it for another list a while back, but I wasn't able to finish in time.
I finished
6/9. For me the best of the trilogy was the first book. This one was good, but not great. 3.5*
I just finished reading Red Rising for Golden Son. It started out a little slow for me, but I was hooked by the end. I gave it 4 stars and I will definitely read the next one in the series.
Random Book List #244Goal: Read ONE book from the list within a four-week period. Post a brief commentary about the book you read.
