"Random Book List #179"I read (actually listened to) One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories by B.J. Novak. I purchased the audio version of this book because it had multiple narrators. I recognized a lot of people from The Office and the stories were funny and random and poignant. I gave it *****!
I'm reading
for
. It's book 4 in the series. Will try to remember to come back and update when I finish the book.
I finished Twisted
yesterday 4/20. It was a fast read and made me tear up a few times. I really liked it, but not as much as Tangled. 4*

Btw, I finished
last April 17. I thought it was different, reading the story from a male POV. It was a light read, but there were a few things about the book that make me not totally like both main characters. 4 stars.

and really enjoyed it! I haven't read many Steampunk novels but I am starting to enjoy them. I loved the mix of fantasy and London high society, I will definately continue with the series!
I finished reading
last June 2. I thought the prose was quite lovely, although I feel the author was a bit heavy-handed in manipulating my emotions. Still an interesting read. 4 stars.

Cool.
I was thinking of reading
after reading its blurb when I was making this list.
Finished
last night and I was in tears by the time I'm done. What a lovely book. Well-written with very believable and endearing characters, it is a beautiful story of love and loss, of despair and hope. I highly recommend this to anyone.5 stars.

this one was more emotional for me, but then being in the military, it was more real...i've seen injuries like that - I was at bethesda the other day (national military medical center) and down in the rehab area and saw lots of amputees etc

I read
, and I was really surprised how much I liked it. I got this book a while ago and it's been sitting on my kindle. It did have a lot of the NA angst, I so desperately try to avoid, but this angst was well-deserved so to speak. I am definitely going to continue with the series.
I read
for
. I have enjoyed this series, but I think this is the best of the three so far. I liked both hero & heroine. Great friendships in these books too.
I just finished
by Susan Mallery, the 13rd installment in the Fool's Gold series and it was not as good as other books in the series, especially the first half was too slow, 3*
