ALA is great for the reader and ego, bad for the overflowing bookshelves. Some publishers had us sign up for galley mailings rather than pick them up at booths, so I got a box last week with

I did read Shine, Janet, and liked it quite well (3 out of 5 stars). So, when I saw
Bliss by the same author, I thought I'd give it a try.

Ditto, Heidi! Melina is AMAZING!!! I can't wait to see what she writes next. Just thinking about the possibility of an unknown Melina book makes me wanna freak out :) That's a pretty great list, Danielle! I would highly recommend Daughter of the forest! If Melina is my favorite YA author, Juliet Marillier is definitely my favorite Fantasy writer.
