You have a lovely time!

Leonie, I loved how the guy says "They are three small children cats, child cats... I've gone all warm and feelgood inside:) Thanks:)

Nice little dig at Apple lol."
Haha... clever. :)

You jetsetter. ;-P Good morning, Bette.

Morning ladies!! Just taking a break from the treadmill (had to move my car so hubby could get his bike out to go to work teaching people to ride)
Vicki, you were up very early!!
Bette, how's the sleep going?

Ha,ha!! I think quite a few of us here can relate. Well if ever you manage to free up a couple of spots on your TBR Julie, I do highly recommend them.

Thank you Vicki and Marianne. :)

Glad to hear it! Anything that can help without side effects is surely a plus!
might be "skeptical"?
Everything I type on GR posts with doubtful spelling has the red squiggly underline and if I right-click on that it offers alternatives (though one has to be careful with those!)

No worries! I loved the way they all turned to mush :)

How lovely Leonie:) Great you were able to spend a week there!

Have fun. I'm a nervous flyer and always go for light and fluffy reading - preferably one that makes me laugh :)

And...Good Morning:)

I use English English so it is sceptical to me. Skeptical is American English. So either is fine:) You can let your spelling brain stay in bed.

Oh, I prefer English English too, didn't realise GR defaulted to American, though I guess that should have been obvious... I do ignore a lot of the red squiggly lines, like the one under "realise" because I simply CAN'T write "realize"

Word must also default to American English as it didn't recognise sceptical; damn thing threw me into a loop.
@Marianne I prefer the English English version of words too.
I wonder, did Ashleigh get a kitty?

Yes, I ignore them too :) Can't do those 'z's' at all!

@Ashleigh. I realise you know your parents (as I do not)and what their reactions would be if you got one now. Good luck and I hope you're successful.
My parents could always be taken in by a sob-story e.g. it was lost, someone was going to drown it etc.

Good morning everyone.

Good Morning Carolyn! It must have been a spectacular ride across the bridge this morning on the train eh? Absolutely gorgeous morning here in Sydney! Have a great day...even if you can't be in the garden :)

A bit hazy this morning - think they must be doing some backburning - but still nice to see the harbour resplendent in the sunshine.

Good morning everyone."
Same here, also nice for going for a walk to check the mail while the washing is doing itself, hopefully the clouds will hold off dropping anything until it's all dry...

Haha! That's funny. My kids and husband once asked me about them getting a puppy by sending me a text message with a picture of said puppy sitting inside our laundry, while I was in Singapore. I was only there for four days, but by the time I got home, the puppy was moved in and had a name.
He's now five years old and called Jace. Which is a problem if you've ever tried to read City of Bones - when I read that book the first time, the name Jace elicited not a blond, Greek God type character, but a little black staffie/kelpie cross with penetrating brown eyes...

It took me about three books before I could read 'Jace' without thinking of our dog, Brenda! It was most disconcerting.
I think that's hilarious though! It's amazing how word association means so much in our reading!

It made it much easier to understand why teachers often struggle with picking baby names :)

Good morning EB's.

Good morning EB's."
I think I may know too many teachers ;)

It's too miserable to eat outside in Sydney today but think I might join you in the lose 5 kilos and walk every day.

Actually, it's so gorgeous outside, I just might follow through on that walk, but first an hour of writing. Am setting the timer ... now!

Dog and I enjoyed a jog/walk together. (After the hail.)
We are getting similar weather to that in northern Sydney right now. Thunder is rolling around in the distance.
I have just finished packing my suit case. I'm off on my holidays in a couple of hours. We are going to cruise from Moscow to St.Petersburg. Can't wait:)

You could always do what I did, when i was about 13 or 14. Both my friend & I got a kitten from a house with a "kittens to give away" sign out the front, then took them home & told our parents we found them abandoned in the local churchyard :)
Not that I am advocating lying to parents of course, obviously I was a terrible child :)
