From your TBR:
-Moon Called by Patricia Briggs- This is sort of a PNR "new classic"! It starts a bit slow, but gets really good!
-Soulless by Gail Carriger- I haven't read this, but I've heard good things!
-Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen- Same as above, I haven't read it but we were constantly sold out at the bookstore I worked at.
-The Great Expectations School: A Rookie Year in the New Blackboard Jungle by Daniel J. Brown- I haven't heard of this one, but it sounds really good, especially since I'm going to school to be a teacher!

New to you:
-A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray- Since you like historical and paranormal, this blends the two in such an unexpected way. Beware though, the first 100 pages are lame but it goes by fast and is worth it!
-Born of Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon- So. Freaking. Amazing.
-You Slay Me by Katie MacAlister- Super cute & sexy. A great start to a few different series (best read in order or you will be confused!)
-Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead- I saw you liked the Vampire Academies and I think this series is even better!
-Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder- I read this for my last Pick it for Me and it was great!
-Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot- Such a fun series! I was totally hooked on it :)
-This Charming Man by Marian Keyes- Sort of dark chick lit...One of my fave non-paranormal authors!

Hehe Sorry I picked so many! Hopefully you can find something you like!

We both need to read

AshleyAlexis, thanks for the recommendations! I think for this month's challenge I am going to go with Only By Your Touch by Catherine Anderson. =-)

From your TBR shelf:

Montana Sky by Nora Roberts. If you love Nora then I think you'll enjoy this one as it is true NR. There's also a movie version of it.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. A classic for a reason.

The Choice by Nicholas Sparks. I haven't read this one yet, but it is on my TBR list. If you enjoy Nicholas Sparks as much as I do then I'm sure this one will be good as well.

Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Looks like we both need to read this one. lol Let me know if you ever want to read it simultaneously! ^_^

Recommendations:

Rising Tides by Nora Roberts (book 2 in the Chesapeake Bay saga). I see you are presently reading the MacKade Brothers saga, and if you love them then you should enjoy this one as well as they have a lot of similarities. I really loved both!

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. Has a lot of the same elements as Twilight. I enjoyed both immensely.

Thursday's Child by Sandra Brown. A cutesy little romance story with lots of humor which I adored!

The Accidental Vampire by Lynsay Sands. This series has lots of humor and quirkiness.

Montana Sky by Nora Roberts Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen The Choice by Nicholas Sparks Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost Rising Tides (Chesapeake Bay Saga, #2) by Nora Roberts Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia Thursday's Child by Sandra Brown The Accidental Vampire (Argeneau, #7) by Lynsay Sands

Emily Greetings and salutations Jeannie
You're truly a voracious reader and made this quite challenging. But I'm hoping that you can find something of my choices that you'd like to read. :^)

From your TBR
Okay, so I've only read one from your list, so I'll throw that on first.
Last Song by Nicholas Sparks: For me it was an enjoyable read. The last 80 pages shredded me, but I suppose that's a Sparks book. ;^)

Sierra's Homecoming by Linda Lael Miller: You seem to truly enjoy Ms. Miller's books. Here's an excuse to pick another one up to read. :^)

Heartless by Diana Palmer: Again, this seems right up your alley.

For Her Pleasure by Maya Banks: Just because. ;^)

New to you (or at least not on your list.)

Cold Sight by Leslie Parrish: I'm currently reading this and it's quite amazing, to me.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak: I feel this should be read by EVERYONE. It's not a romance, but it holds the honor of being the only book that made me SOB that I didn't hate for it. ;^)

Speak No Evil by Allison Brennan: A nice little romantic suspense one. I like her writing style but I can't do too many of hers in a row.

Admiral's Bride by Suzanne Brockmann: Yes, it's part of series, but this is probably one of my favorite romances, bar none.

So there you have it. I hope you can find something amongst them that you want to read this month.

Paranormalfreak2010 (graveyardgirlie07) | 2 comments Books that were on your TBR list:

Wings by Aprilynne Pike
Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
Undone by Rachel Caine
Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews

Books that you didn't have:
The particular sadness of lemon cake by Aimee Bender
Rich and Mad by William Nicholson
Matched by Ally Condie
Birthmarked by Caragh M O'brien

These are the books I recommended for my partner.

Lili | 343 comments Hey BrandyS!

Wow!, talk about having similar tastes!... I was bummed when I found out that I don’t have one single book in common with you that you haven't read, but not to worry, that just makes this more interesting!
Okay… here we go!

From your TBR:
Mine to Possess by Nalini Singh. One of my favorite series!, this is Clay’s story and his Tally. Very intense!
Gentle Rogue by Johanna Lindsey. I love Tony but James is not too bad either, this is a funny historical romance.
Just the Sexiest Man Alive by Julie James. A very funny and very very sweet contemporary romance story.
Master of Ecstasy by Nina Bangs. I haven’t read this one but I do like Nina Bangs very much!

New to you:
Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. This is one of the sweetest stories I’ve ever read.
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süzkind. One of the best books and super scary.
Nauti Boy boy by Lora Leigh. I’m reading this right now and it’s pretty intense, like all of Lora’s books I’ve read, but not bad.
The Unsung Hero by Suzanne Brockmann. This is the first book of the troubleshooters series, I’ve been meaning to start it since it’s supposed to be very good.

All right. I hope you can find something you really like and if not, just let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
Happy reading!

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments @ Rachel

I need to stay away from your read and TBR list, its dangerous to my health and my paycheck!!

I saw that you read a lot of PNR and since I've only just started reading it, I didn't recognize a lot of series there, so I hope you like my picks! If not, let me know and i'll do some more searching.

TBR
On the Edge - Ilona Andrews (I haven't actually read this, but its on my TBR pile)
Blood Bound - Patricia Briggs (i'm reading Moon Called right now and loving it, so figured I would recommend the next one in the seris for you)
Pleasure Unbound - Larissa Ione (I love this series, sexy demons running a hospital, what more could a girl want ;) )
Dark Lover - JR Ward (for all the PNR on your list, I'm amazed you haven't read these! I read the first one a few months back and loved it! I'm slowly working my way through the series and loving them all)

New to You
Angel Warriors - Stephanie Hecht (this is a series about angels fighting evil - set in Detroit - one of them even loves the red-wings)
Cold Sight - Leslie Parrish (this book is on my TBR, but its come highly recommended)
Pack Challenge - Shelly Laurenson (I saw you had some GA Aiken on your list, this is her other writing name and I just finished reading it and found it funny and entertaining)
It Happened One Autumn - Lisa Kleypas (I saw you had some historical on your list, LK is one of my favorite authors. This book is actually the second in the series after Secrets of a Summer Night but it was my favorite)
Some Girls Bite - Chloe Neill (I didn't see the Chicagoland Vampires series on your list either - this is more UF than PNR, but I loved the first book and bought the other two before I had finished reading it)

I hope I found something you want to read!!

I think i'm going to try for Halfway to the Gravefrom my TBR pile and maybe Kitty if I have time and the I grabbed Beyond the Night and Goddess of the Rose (although if I don't get to them, well, all the more books on the TBR)

From your suggestions i'll read The Accidental Vampire by Lynsay Sands. I goggled the book and noticed that it's book 7 in the series. would you recommend me to read book 1 or will i be fine starting in the middle?

Hi Sherri,
I enjoyed looking through your reading list. I will have to add some the the books to my own.
From your TBR..
Some To Watch Over Me by Lisa Kelypas
Summer By The Sea by Susan Wiggs
Real Vampires Have Curves by Gerry Bartlett
Savor The Moment by Nora Roberts
I really like Lisa Kelypas and Nora Roberts. I just purchased Savor The Moment this past week.
NTY...
Under a Blood Red Moon by Shannon Drake. I really liked this book and the vampire books by her.
The Wedding Bargin by Victoria Alexander. Cute and romantic.
Lucky's Lady by Tami Hoag. Steamy romanance in the Bayou. One of my favs.
Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. She is a very funny writer. Light hearted, quirky, comtempory vamp romance.

It's fun to be considered an "old timer" in this, lol:-) Hope you'll find something you'll like in the following:-) Since you don't have that many books on your TBR, I'll recommend more books in the second part, lol.. Thanks for your recs, I'll probably end up rereading The Bride and the Beast:-) It's been a while!

From your TBR

The Princess Bride by William Goldman: This is one of my fave "classics" for me.. There's everything.. Princesses, pirates, princes, swordsmen, giants, crazy Sicilian poisoners, you name it:-) It's great fun, and I still reread it every year!

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks: this one made me cry more than the movie did, lol, but it was an amazing book that goes to show that sometimes first loves are the last..

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas: this is another classic that I reread every year.. Less romance, and more revenge in this book: Edmond Dantès has lost everything, and is finally getting his revenge on all those who've betrayed him..

New to you

Fairest of Them All by Teresa Medeiros: I noticed that you enjoyed The Bride and the Beast by TM, and this book is one of my faves by her: it had a bit of a fairy-tale feel for me, and the ending was very sweet.. I love all her books:-)

Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase: Hilarious and amazing book, whith a kind of Beauty and the Beast feel to it.. Dain was a character, and Jessica was woman enough to tame him:-) Another of my favorite authors:-)

Lord of the Fading Lands by CL Wilson: the first book in a 5-book fantasy romance series that is the best I've ever read: It is soooo worth reading, and the books just get better and better: Rain is such a tortured old soul, and Ellie is this sweet innocent girl with such a mysterious past: Wilson does an amazing job of bringing this new world to life.. I can't recommend it enough!!

Night Pleasures by Sherrilyn Kenyon: I don't know if you're into PNR, but this is a great series.. I would start with this one, and if you like it, go on and read the prequel Fantasy Lover..

Dark Lover by JR Ward: Once again, no idea if you're into PNR, but the Black Dagger Brotherhood will suck you into their world in a heartbeat!! Sexy warrior vampires find their mates (one book for each couple), and the stories are amazing:-)

Beyond the Highland Mist by Karen Marie Moning: Highland warriors, time travelling modern women,... What's not to like?? Another great series (though each book is a stand alone)!

Beastly by Alex Flinn: A very fun and cute modern YA retelling of Beauty and the Beast, and since the movie should be coming out in the US this weekend, I'd recommend reading the book first:-)

Hope you find something you'll enjoy!!!

Hey, thanks for accepting my invitation, here are your choices :)

From your TBR:

Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris - while this one only got a 3 star from me, this series does get better.
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen - just read this last month and really enjoyed it.
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury - Good book, I gave it 4 stars. If you like dystopian literature, I think you'll like this.
The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood - another dystopian book, quite creepy and sad. A really good book though.

New To You:
The Trouble With Magic by Madelyn Alt - I noticed you like Stephanie plum and thought you might like this, a lighthearted mystery/paranormal novel.
Bare Bones by Kathy Reichs - also I noticed you have read a few Dexter books and so I thought a forensic science book might interest you, Kathy Reichs is one of my fave authors and this is one of the best books I have read by her so far.
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger - a classic that I noticed was missing from your shelf. It isn't a fave of mine but everyones tastes are different and you might like it.
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater - a nice paranormal romance to finish off with. Quite a sweet book and the wolf version of Twilight.

Hope you find something you like there :)

The Argeneau series is pretty loosely connected so you don't have to read them in chronological order to understand what's going on. I started the series with The Accidental Vampire and have just gone on from there (never went back and read the first ones). She does a good job at explaining exactly what's going on in all the books so you're never really lost. But if you'd like to start at the beginning, please by all means...and then let me know if I should read them as well. ;)

The Accidental Vampire is one of my favorites of the series. If you do start at the beginning, I might recommend reading them in published order which starts: Single White Vampire, Tall Dark and Hungry, Love Bites and A Quick Bite instead of actual order which is A Quick Bite, Love Bites, Single White Vampire and Tall Dark and Hungry because I think A Quick Bite is one of the weakest.

~From your TBR~
1.Eternal Kiss of Darkness-Because it just came out and I know you can't wait to read it!
2.Laid Bare-I loved this and can't recommend enough. Perfect mix of sexuality and understanding with a fantastic story too.
3.Special Delivery-This is on my TBR as well, I've heard many good things.
4.Naked in Death- I hesitate to add this because as yummy as the hero Roarke is the series is now 30 books long. But I enjoyed this one.

~New to you~
1.Water for Elephants-Just finished this and LOVED it. Fantastic adventure story particularly good now because Rob Pattinson has the lead in the movie version so you get to visualize him while reading.
2.Wild Card-I don't know if you've read any Lora Leigh before but this is my favorite. Its romantic suspense, hot and heartbreaking.
3.Dead After Dark (Includes: Dark-Hunter, Related Books #10)- I'm recommending this only for "The Story Of Son" by JR Ward. I noticed that you were a BDB fan and this is just SO good.
4.An Unforgettable Lady- Just finished this and its surprisingly great. Early Ward so you get to see hints of the BDB to come. I saw Zsadist in the dark, dangerous alpha hero Bodyguard.

Hope you find some fun reads in your picks SheSwitches! Cheers

Ez (ezrah-rah) | 387 comments And I’m back…

Alright, Mandy, here are my recs for you!

New to you:
1. “Wings of Equity” - Sean Kennedy (I saw that you had some Sean Kennedy books on your TBR, but not this one. Since you liked “Soulless,” I thought you might be interested in this one because it also has a steampunk theme.)
2. “Flowers From the Storm” - Laura Kinsale (I’m suggesting this because you liked “The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie,” and I’ve seen that book compared to this one. Personally, this is one of my favorite romance novels ever.)
3. “Crocodile on the Sandbank (Amelia Peabody #1)" - Elizabeth Peters (You seem to be a fan of mysteries and this series came highly recommended to me. I think it’s something you might enjoy.)
4. “Daughter of the Forest (Sevenwaters #1)” - Juliet Marillier (This is fantasy with some romance. Marillier is one of my favorite authors and I adore this series in particular. Since you like fantasy, I definitely wanted to recommend her.)

Wings of Equity by Sean Kennedy Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale Crocodile on the Sandbank (An Amelia Peabody Mystery, #1) by Elizabeth Peters Daughter of the Forest (Sevenwaters, #1) by Juliet Marillier

From your TBR list
1. “The Hunger Games” - Suzanne Collins (I love this series and recommend it to everyone who hasn’t read it yet.)
2. “All I Ever Wanted” - Kristan Higgins (I’m a fan of Higgins and I can’t wait to read this one myself.)
3. “Already Dead (Joe Pitt #1)" - Charlie Huston (I recently read a review for this series in a magazine and it sounds like it could be really fun.)
4. “Passion” - Lisa Valdez (Haven’t read this one yet, but it’s on my TBR list and I’ve heard great things.)

The Hunger Games (Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins All I Ever Wanted by Kristan Higgins Already Dead (Joe Pitt, #1) by Charlie Huston Passion by Lisa Valdez

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Hi Jenny D!
Sorry for the delay, but I finally have your recommendations. Unfortunately I've only read one book on your TBR : You Slay Me, and seeing as you've read, and enjoyed, the third book in this series, it seems a no brainer to recommend it to you.
Since I've only one to choose from your TBR I'll give you extra that are new to you. After going through your lists this is what I've come up with. I'll stick with romance since this is a Romance Challenge and all of these books are favorites of mine:

New
Lord of the Fading Lands by C. L. Wilson - I would classify this first in a series as Fantasy Romance. Considering your love of Fantasy I thought this a good choice.
Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning - Also a first in a series, this UF novel deals with the world of Faerie and one woman's discovery of her involvement in it.
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon - This is a very hefty book that I consider to be an Historical novel with an intriguing romance within rather than an historical romance. Gabaldon is a genius researching details completely immersing the reader in another time and place.
Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost - I always recommend this series because I just love it so much and since you like the black dagger brotherhood books I thought you might enjoy this as well.
Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh - Strong hero + strong heroine + unique story line = great book!
Dragon Actually by G.A. Aiken - This is a truly fun romantic novel with dragons that can shift to human form. Don't expect the reality you might find in books like Eragon or the Pern series (not that dragons are real, but you get my point), just relax and enjoy the book.
A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught - Since you don't seem to have any Historical romances on your lists I thought I should include on of the best you'll ever read :)

Ok, so thats eight picks in all but you only have to choose one. I still have more that I'd like to recommend to you so if you don't find anything here that does it for you, just let me know. Enjoy!

You Slay Me (Aisling Grey Guardian, #1) by Katie MacAlister Lord of the Fading Lands (Tairen Soul, #1) by C.L. Wilson Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh Dragon Actually (Dragon Kin, #1) by G.A. Aiken A Kingdom of Dreams (Westmoreland, #1) by Judith McNaught

Mandapanda Hi Harper,
Was fun going through your bookshelf. Here are my recommendations:
From your To Be Read shelf
Open Season This is one of favourite of Linda's. Even got a "makeover" happening and what girl doesn't like that!
Heart Thief (Celta's Heartmates, #2) IMHO the best of her Celta's Heartmates series.
The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie My 2nd favourite historical romance.
Magic Bites Ilona Andrews is unbeatable in urban fantasy.
Oops I forgot to include a MM romance. I'll add Cut & Run just in case.
Open Season by Linda Howard Heart Thief (Celta's Heartmates, #2) by Robin D. Owens The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Highland Pleasures, #1) by Jennifer Ashley Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews Cut & Run by Madeleine Urban

Books you haven't read:
Games of Command A little Sci Fi romance. Sort of a beauty and the beast theme.
Mr. Impossible One of my favourite heroines.
Heaven, Texas A great contemporary romance.
Angels' Blood Great book and I think it was Amazon's romance of the year in 2009.
Games of Command by Linnea Sinclair Mr. Impossible (Carsington Brothers, #2) by Loretta Chase Heaven, Texas (Chicago Stars, #2) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh

Well that's it. I can't wait to start on your recs to me as well. I want to read them all!

Tammy Walton Grant (tamgrant) | 194 comments Hi there D.G., you are so right about our tastes being similar! It was very easy for me to pick 4 from your tbr for you:

1. Dark Lover, J.R. Ward: these books are like crack - highly addictive! If you can suspend your belief just a bit until you get used to their names, I think you'll like it. I scoffed at this one for the longest time, then read it and am now completely hooked.
2. The Thirteenth Taleby Diane Setterfield - a beautifully written "gothicky" type story. I loved it.
3. The Historian, Elizabeth Kostova - I enjoyed this one - a story within a story about a girl, her father, and her search for Dracula.
4. The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins - I'm currently reading this one!

NEW TO YOU:: This involved a little more thought! I had a look at your shelves, and came up with these:

I see you like historical romances, and a glance at your shelf shows the authors you have read to be mostly new ones - so first I would recommend a couple of authors from the beginning -
1. Nobody's Angel, by Karen Robards
2. A Rose in Winter, by Kathleen Woodiwiss.
Then,
3. Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake, Sarah MacLean - simply the best historical romance I've read in the past 5 years or so - I think everyone should read it.
4.The Shadow of the Wind Carlos Luis Zafron - one of the most wonderful works of literary fiction I have ever read. This book pulls you in immediately. It has beautiful language, characterization, and story-telling is amazing. I didn't want this book to end.
5.Halfway to the Grave, Jeaniene Frost - I didn't see this author on your paranormal shelf. I've just recently read this one and really liked it -- not too dark, with a pretty good love story to start off the series.
6. Son of the Morning, Linda Howard -- I see you've read a couple of hers, and this is one of my favourites. It has a bit of everything - romance, history, time-travel, suspense...with a very likable heroine to boot.

Hope you like them! Please let me know if you don't - I'd be happy to suggest some others for you, or to talk more about these ones. Now off I go to look up your recs for me! Thanks again!

Thanks for the recs, Mandy! I haven't decided which one to read yet, but I have them all on my TBR list right now. I'm leaning toward either "Heart Thief" or "The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie" at the moment. :)

Melanie (melaina) | 1339 comments Ok... it's several hours past midnight in Switzerland (and I'm jet-lagged from Alaska, lol).. So I was already in August when I started this book 2 hrs ago:-)

I finished my rec from Chloe, The Bride and the Beast (Fairy Tales, #2) by Teresa Medeiros .. It was actually a reread, but it's been more than 5 yrs since I read it, so I didn't remember anything:-) I loved it.. I've always been a big fan of Beauty and the Beast retellings, even when there's not always a beast:-)

Thanks Chloe:-)

Thanks both of you, I don't know if I will need any for re-pairing or not but I will add you to the volunteer list.

Chloe West (chlxee) | 61 comments Thanks Melanie! I'll probably end up reading The Count of Monte Cristo or the Teresa Medeiros book you recommended. I've seen The Count of Monte Cristo movie a while back and loved it and have been dying to read the book! :)

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Risa,

Wow, this is the first time since I've participated in this challenge that I'm actually terrified about giving out my recommendations.

Our reading tastes seem so far apart, I'm not sure what to pick for you. :)

But, hey, that's why it's called a challenge.

Okay, you have 11 books in your TBR and all of them I haven't read at all. So I'm going to go only for two, those that sound familiar to me.

TBR

The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman - I've seen the movie, and found it enjoyable, so I hope the book is better.

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen - I've enjoyed Pride and Prejudice, so I'm betting that this will be of the same calibre.

New To You

Okay, now the hard part. :)

The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak - I love this book and is always happy to recommend it.

Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel - Just finished this book and thinks its lovely. The style is magical realism so you might need to suspend your disbelief for a bit, but the book sings in my opinion.

A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens - You have plenty of classics on your list, so I'll recommend my favorite.

Anthem by Ayn Rand - I saw you rated Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead 5 stars, so you might want to check out this little story to add to your collection.

The Icarus Agenda by Robert Ludlum - I'm a big Ludlum fan, and next to his Bourne trilogy, this is my favorite.

Naked in Death by JD Robb - Of course, I have to throw in some 'fluff'. : ) Currently, one of my favorite series. It's a futuristic romantic detective mystery.

Well, Risa, those are my recommendations. Hope you find something that will interest you. : )

Thank you for your recommendations, Tammy! I'll definitely be reading Dark Lover because I'm participating in August's FAC. I'll try to read a second book but I'll be on vacation so my reading time will limited.

Regardless, I'll keep the rest of your recommendations and try to get my hands on the books. I really don't know why I haven't read the Frost series when I've seen is so popular. The Shadow of the Wind I already own (in Spanish) and I hope to get to it in a few months.

Risa

I've added all your recommendations to my TBR shelf. I currently have Nights in Rodanthe in my possession, so that is my default choice from your list.

But I'm going to see if I can get a Georgette Heyer book from the library, since I like the premise of the two books your recommended.

Thanks for the choices.

Perfect Timing also has a sequel Perfect Fit and I enjoyed them both although I don't think they are in my Read list. I enjoyed them both and I hope that you will too. I was hoping you'd choose Choke so you could tell me how it is lol. I think I'm adding it to my TBR list because my sick and demented mind keeps wandering back to the synopsis.

The moving went great. No hiccups except with the cable company grrr lol. Now it's off to a one day training session. Happy reading!

I keep putting [book:Morrigan's Cross
back on the shelf so I'm going to take this as an omen it's time to read it. I have so many series going right now I didn't want to add another just yet. From the recommendations I'll read either Slave to SensationYou Slay Me. My purpose for joining this group was to fine new authors and genres to read. These fit the bill! Thanks!!

Thank you, Macwolf01.

My recommendations:

TBR
The Host - One of my all-time favorite books, read it!
Lock and Key - I'm a Dessen fan and couldn't help adding it to the list after seeing it in your TBR.
Mine Till Midnight You think it's good and recommended it to me yet you haven't read it. Why not? I think you should!
One Dance with a Duke I heard really good things about this one.

New to you
Succubus Blues - My newest favorite series. You already read and liked VA so I think you'll like this one too.
Something About You - Julie James is my favorite contemporary romance author.
Pleasure Unbound
Hot in Here - Another amazing contemporary romance. Definitely a must-read.

I'll read Mine till Midnight from the TBR ones, I can't decide which one to choose from the "New" ones yet.

Miss | 330 comments Hi Regina, thanks for the recs, they are great, i will start with Wicked Ties from my TBR and i will try to get a hold on The Dark One for starters.

My recommendations for you:

From your TBR pile:
1.Eragon - I actually read this one a couple of times, every time a new book came out in the trilogy, i would read them all over again. Can't wait for the final book!
2.New Moon - if you've read and liked Twilight you must also read the next book in the series, they are all great (except maybe the last one ;) )
3.The Hunger Games - haven't read this one because i'm waiting for the final book to come out to read the series in one sitting, but i hear it is one of the best out there
4.The Bride's Necklace - i love Kat Martin's writing, they are so epic and convoluted! Haven't read this one but what i've read by her i liked and the blurb sounds interesting.

New to you:
1.Succubus Blues - Richelle Mead is one of my favourite authors out there and this is the first book of a wonderful series
2.The Smoke Thief - this book was such a surprise to me because i did not expect to love it and just read it because i had nothing else on hand at the time as i was on holiday. It is really really well written, it has an interesting story and characters
3.Her Best Friend's Lover - this one is another gem... very erotic but it also has a true and very gripping love story
4.Lord of Scoundrels - i see that you like some historicals if they are well written - so i recommend to you this book which won many popularity awards and is truly wonderful, engaging and easy to read
