I forgot to mention of the 10 books I read for this challenge the two I liked the best were :

Borderline by Nevada Barr . I really like her books a lot. Her protagonist is Anna Pigeon a ranger with the National Park Service. Nevada Barr has the ability to describe the setting so well that I feel like I am experiencing it for myself. I give it ★★★★★'s.

The other one that I highly recommend is Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford. This was the first book I have read by this author but I loved it. It is a beautiful love story starting just before Pearl Harbor was bombed. It deals with the love between a Chinese boy and a Japanese girl and spans from the 1940's to current day. I had never read much about the interment of Japanese/Americans after Pearl Harbor so it was interesting from that aspect as well. I also give it ★★★★★'s.
