The target reads challenge
Suzanne, that's quite so target you've set yourself there! It's over three times my target! I could read 20 books in a month but unfortunatly have to work full time so I reckon 1.5 books a week is not too bad. Wish I had more time.
Update on my target for June - what is going on??? I've not really read any??? Clearly NOT going to make my target of 8 books!

I work fulltime as well, but being off sick I can't really do very much apart from laze around feeling sorry for myself, so books are a very good distraction.

Sorry to hear you are not well Suzanne. Hope you are feeling better really soon! Books are the best distraction, I've been sick this last week and reading helped keep me sane so I know exactly what you mean!
(sorry had not seen to post further up when I made my previous comment)

I know exactly what you mean about feeling like your skivving!! That's what everyone will think I've been doing this last week. But that's just not me. I'd never get away with it, I'm far to honest!

Lol same here, luckily for me they can see what was wrong with me (have icky ear infection which I have had since Feb!!) as I came stumbling into work unable to keep my balance and deaf in one ear (not good when you work on a helpdesk)!!Are you feeling better now?
That's really weird! I've been off becasue of bad ears too! Sunday I suddenly could not walk straight, keep my balance or work out where anything was. Apparently casued by my recurrent sinus infections and related ear problems! Really is crap isn't it! Mine is quite a lot better now, i'm told as it cam on suddenly it should not last too long (3 days to 2 weeks?!?) Are you imporving any??
Well, kind of, some days are better then others and just when I think it had cleared up it starts all over again and I wake up with a really painful ear and a swollen jaw, it gets so bad that I can't speak as it hurt my jaw so much : ( But at the moment I am feeling okay fingers crossed it stays that way and I can go back to work soon!I am glad that yours is clearing up so quickly, you don't realize how important your hearing/ears are until they go bad!
Jen and Suzanne.. I hope that you both get to feeling better lickity split... And getting in a bunch of reading always makes me feel better..lol. Jen, I know what you mean when you say you feel like you haven't read any this month.. I have but its been really nothing on my target reads.. Its been a lot of rereading and funny books... Rediculous..lol
Lol.. Gotta get back towork.. I'm such a slacker..lol
