I'm currently reading Middlemarch, which is taking me some time, and Please Kill Me: The Uncensored Oral History of Punk, which is slow going for different reasons.
Erica wrote: "Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman"Neverwhere is in my top 5 books of all time! It is incredible!
I just finished So Brave, Young and Handsome: A Novel by Leif Enger and am about to start Hercule Poirot's Casebook by Agatha Christie.
Re-reading "Animal Farm" by George Orwell. Maybe I'll get more out of it now than I did in high school.
I am reading the Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire seiries by Brian Davis. Again! They are so good. Go God!!
Hey everyone! I'm currently reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith and Buying In by Rob Walker.
I just finished "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" by the same person that wrote "Pride and Predjudice with Zombies". It was phenomenal! Now I'm on to John Irving's "Until I Find You".
Erica wrote: "Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman"I just finished reading 'Neverwhere'. I hope you enjoy it! Have you read 'Good Omens' by Gaiman? It's awesome :)
Amber wrote: "Reading 2 books right now! Bel-Ami and Water for Elephants"Oh...Water for Elephants. That's a great book.
Ali wrote: "The Picture of Dorian Grey, By Oscar Wilde. What a masterpiece."Agreed! I really enjoyed it, too.
Maggie wrote: "December wrote: "Geek Love by Katherine Dunn...so amazing!"

I just borrowed Pat Conroy's South of Broad from a friend today. I'm going through a bit of an obsession with, I don't know what you would call it exactly.. Old South? So far I love the wonderfully illustrious descriptions of Charleston.
I'm an elementary school library-media specialist, so I read constantly! Right now I'm preparing for our upcoming Reading Olympics competition by reading Holes by Louis Sachar (I'm actually re-reading this one - love it!) and Miracle on 49th Street by Mike Lupica.
I'm reading Soulless by Gail Carriger. It's really entertaining.

I'm reading a few different books all at once. I decided to go for some of the classics - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Stevenson as well as the Luxe series by Anna Godbersen.
Currently I have two Russians on the go! DIRTY!Gogol - Deal Souls
Dostoyevsky - The Brothers Karamazov
I want to be a Countess.
I'm currently reading Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. It's for an assignment, but it's very interesting! :)

Very creepy so far
Someone gave me "Mr. Darcy, Vampire" - so I think I'll start with that, and then I'm moving on "The Sound and the Fury" - I've heard great things about it ever since the lead in the play "The Sure Thing" read it to get into character.
I'm reading Surfacing by Margaret Atwood... it's an intricate read that I'm determined to wrap up soon since it's fairly short!
That book sounds great! I think I will read it even if I don't win!! =)Currently I am reading "Shutter Island" by Dennis Lehane.
I am rereading "Eclipse" by Stephenie Meyer. A reason is because the movie is coming out in June. Another is because a friend has expressed her complete disgust with the series so I'm reading it again from an objective point of view and give unbiased commentary. :) Reading it for the second time around gives me a lot to ponder on.
