I JUST finished reading Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore Now I am reading Bergdorf Blones by Plum Sykes.

Actually, if you have read "Lamb", I urge you to get some of the other Christopher Moore books. They are all highly entertaining, and the perfect gift for men in your life who might not like reading much. My husband LOVES all of his books...owns them all! He read "A Dirty Job" to the rest of us around the campfire last year when we were on our summer vacation. We all enjoyed it, and laughed aloud quite often. He's a very inventive writer.
I'm just starting the Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr. I've been reading nothing but school texts lately so I definitely need a break from that - and what better than some fairy fantasy? :)
Margaret wrote: "The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide by Douglas Adams."Haha that book is great! I've probably read it a million times! Currently reading "You Are Here: Exposing the Vital Link Between What We Do and What That Does to Our Planet" by Thomas M. Kostigen. Also just bought "The Sartorialist" by Scott Schuman, although that doesn't really count as reading.
I'm reading The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley and The War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells.
I'm reading "Bleak House" by Dickens for a class (blah), and "My Sister's Keeper" for fun. But the month is still young and I hope to fit in a lot more! :)
I'm reading "The Joy Luck Club" by Amy Tan, and am going through some culture shock as a result! Love it
The best book I've read yet this year was "The Miles Between" by Mary E. Pearson. A YA novel, this book flowed along like the roadtrip it is about, with a captivating ending and a message I'll never forget. Highly recommended!

Hi! I'm obviously new here.I'm reading....well nothing yet. I'm going to the bookstore to hunt soon, but I could give you goood book ideas. And of course get some suggestions of my own.
BTW, I'm also a writer so I'm hoping this will help me branch out a bit.
I am currently reading The Source of Magic by Piers Anthony, which is pretty good. Next I will either read Alice in Wonderland or Frankenstein. I haven't decided yet. lol
Hello All!I am so excited to join! I am author and I am happy to know there is a place I can chat with readers and authors. Just to give info on myself, my book, "No One in New Orleans Will Die" will be released in April of this year. I also have a blog: shalontel.blogspot.com. Currently, I am in New Orleans actively promoting my book. I look forward to being an active member of this club!
I'm reading "The Namesake" by Jhumpa Lahiri. I know I'm late coming, but it's such a beautiful book and the perfect way to spend my time between reading for law school!
I'm reading Matt Kramer's Making Sense of Italian Wine: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/27...
I love to fall asleep reading about wine. It's much more socially acceptable than falling asleep holding a bottle of wine!
I'm reading People on a Bridge, a poetry book by Polish Nobel Winner Wislawa Szymborska. She's so good! Check here out.
Just started reading "Education for Extinction: American Indians and the Boarding School Experience; 1875-1928" by David Wallace Adams.
I am reading The Devil Wears Prada as well as reading The Shack. They are both great! But I'm almost done with both so then I will start reading Pride and Prejudice as well as The Sartorialist...but I suppose that doesn't really count as reading!
I am reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and I am hoping to finish The Screwtape Letters and Firefly Lane.
