I am reading "The Monk" by Matthew Gregory Lewis this month. This novel is very engrossing and opened up a new style of reading that I now love. I'd recommend it to anybody who enjoys the classics. The novel involves forbidden love, corruption of the church, demonic pacts, and takes place during the spanish inquisition. Go read it now!

I just finished "Temptation of the Night Jasmine" by Lauren Willig and am currently reading "The Magician's Assistant" by Ann Patchett.along with "Watership Down" which I have been reading for years.
I started reading 'Ghosts of Long Island' months ago but haven't found the time!I recently picked up 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' at a thrift store for 79 cents (score!) and definitely plan on cracking that open soon.
I am reading The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov (this is a Russian novel and I very highly recommend purchasing the translated edition by Diana Burgin and Katherine Tiernan O'Connor). This book is absolutely amazing, its got characters like the devil, Pontius Pilate, a man sized vodka drinking black cat and a girl named Margarita. Its funny and though-provoking and satirically smart.
I'm reading "Women on Top" by Nancy Friday, "The Snoring Bird" by Bernd Heinrich, and "John Dies At The End" by David Wong.
Currently, I am reading Alicia Silverstone's The Kind Diet. It's a healthy food/vegetarian/vegan/marcobiotic primer-cum-cookbook. I'm also reading Tranquilista by Kimberly Wilson, the author of Hip Tranquil Chick.
I'm reading "Under the Tuscan Sun" by Frances Mayes. It's amazing so far! I want to travel to Italy now:)
I'm reading "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. I can't wait until university's over, so that I can really plough into all of the books that have been collecting dust on my bookshelf!
Currently I'm reading Everything Is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer. I intend to read his other book, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close this month--as well as Case Histories by Kate Atkinson and The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson--if time permits.
Just finished "Chasing Harry Winston" by Lauren Weisberger and am now reading-and LOVING- "House Rules" by Jodi Picoult!

I am reading "The Devil Wears Prada" by Lauren Weisberger. Seems like a popular one. But I loved the movie, so I wanted to see how the book was written. So far, it's completely different. But amazing!
I am reading Zelda by Nancy Milford, a very thorough biography about Zelda Fitzgerald. It paints such a vivid picture of her and Scott Fitzgerald's lives.
ModCloth wrote: "Let us know what you're reading this month, and you could win a copy of Malena Watrous' If You Follow Me!"Eva Peron's Autobiography by Alicia Dujovne Ortiz :)
I'm reading John Bailey's "The Lost German Slave Girl." It's about a German immigrant in the 1800s whose dark complexion causes a Frenchman to believe her of African descent and forces her into slavery for 25 years, and the trial following these events.
GONE by Lisa McMann. The third and final installment in her series, the WAKE series. It's fantastic! I finally met her. She is just as cool as I thought she would be. She is awesome! Read her series!
I'm reading an inspirational book called "It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want to Be." By Paul Arden. It's for those creative folks who are at a road block and need a few words to motivate their artistic aspirations.
I'm currently reading or flipping through:
A Place of My Own by Michael Pollan,
Readymade by Shoshana Berger and Grace Hawthorne, and
Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child et al. I just finished reading
The Lazy Environmentalist on a Budget by Josh Dorfman. And after I finished "A place of my own", I want to start
A Year without "Made in China" by Sara Bongiorni.
"I Was Told There'd Be Cake" by Sloane Crosley
Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. So far so good!
I am currently reading "the Perks of being a wallflower" Tihs is my favorite book and everyone should read it before they die.
