I don't get it with these authors. Why do they have to take a perfectly delicious evil villian and try to turn him into a hero? She did a good job of it with these books... I liked the both.
I'm happy today because my library has the Hunger Games trilogy ready for me to pick up along with the Bow Street Runners #2 (Lisa Kleypas).

That's been under my night table in a to-read box for a while. I look forward to your review.
Just finished the second Lisa Kleypas Bow Street Runners book, about to start the third.

So far, so good, Mollie. Arch, 850 pages is pretty intimidating, but the writing flows. Mollie, I hope you're enjoying the Bow Street series.

I thought the first one was fine but not great, I was kind of disappointed in the second, and wouldn't try the third except I see it won some awards. I'm glad I tried the Wallflowers and Hathaways first, or I'd have given up on LK which would have been too bad.

No, I only 'discovered' Kleypas last month. Thanks for the recommendation, I've moved it up into my top 20 to-reads. I've read the Wallflowers, the Hathaways, the Travises, and am 2/3 of the way through the Bow Street Runners. I've got A Wallflower Christmas checked out for my next LK read.
The third Bow Street book was my favorite of the series. Nick Gentry is one of the best Kleypas heroes!

I hope you like "Suddenly You" it is really good and it was nice just reading a standalone rather then having to invest in a whole series
I have heard so much about Nick Gentry I think I will have to get the rest of these books so I can read him

Did you read the free ebook prequel first?

Did you read the free ebook prequel first?"
no i didnt know anything about this book before reading it should i have read the prequel? ..."
I've no idea, I haven't read any of them yet.
Katie, you don't need to read the prequel first. FYI, it's free on Amazon Kindle (at least in the US).

The third was my favorite too - I liked each successive book more than the last in the Bow Street Series.

Finished off Suzanne Enoch's Lessons in Love series (

Working on Julia Quinn's Ex-Spies series today with

ANYWHO, I have

I find it very different from the others in the series. Usually the men are so very alpha, woman obey my every command, this time around the hero likes that the woman is a warrior, and there seems to be a quiet courtship going on. One of the better ones of the series so far.

I also just finished

Now on to

Suzanne - I'm so glad because I just bought it today!

That is one of my favorite series! Some are better than others, just like any other series of course, but I like all of the books a lot. They are a bit over the top, but I think it works. Enjoy!!!

@Carol- You bought Lord Perfect? It is so good! Have you read teh rest of the series?
I am reading

How to Marry a Marquis is one of my favorite Julia Quinn books! How did you like it?
And I keep hearing good things about Monica McCarty - I've only read one of her books and liked it, so I'll have to check out more!

Suzanne, no I haven't got the rest of the series yet. Now I'm retired I have to space out my purchases unfortunately.

Just finished

I'd like to know what you think of it, the title fascinated me.

That is definitely one of my faves! The next one comes out soon and I cannot wait! You'll have to tell us what you think!
