Hi Diana, my copy of Derik's Bane finally arrived in the mail yesterday, so I plan to read it tonight.

Well Gigi, as you know I did read Whitney, My Love and loved it but I don't think I am going to get to Archangel this month. oh well. I will get to it sometime and let you know what I think when I do :) Thanks for all the rec's!
Sam wrote: "I'm new to all this so how exactly do I sign up for the March pick-it-for-me challenge?"It's too late for March - you have to sign up before the month starts. You can sign up for the April one still though. Just go to the April pick it for me thread and type that you're in and you'll be paired for next month.

Okay so how do I go about doing that?

Thanks:)
Congratulations, Jennefer! I couldn't read that book this month, too many that i had to read that were mostly series.

Thank you Sara for answering the question and directing to the right thread. *sending hugs your way*

Thanks Rossy!
I hope you will try to fit Whitney in sometime in the future, I think you would like it :)

Hey Sam, i didn't see a post for you on the April thread. Let me know if you still want me to add you there.
I failed to read my book this month. :( I chose Ashes in the Wind from my list of recommendations and tried to start it a few days back, but I just couldn't get into it. I didn't like the writing style at all. At this point, it's too late for me to try to get one of the other ones and finish it by the end of the month. Hopefully I'll have better luck in April.
Too bad Harper, but at least you tried! That's the whole point of this challenge trying something new.
Deanna, I see that you are up for any suggestions for a book already on your TBR shelf. Desire Unchained by Larissa Ione
Finished reading my pick last night - i enjoyed it, but liked the first in the series better - I think I might be one of the few. I loved the hero and the villian but the heroine (Runa) left me feeling a little bit empty even though I came to like her in the end. I have the last two books on the pile for april challenges before the 5th one comes out and can't wait to read Wraiths in april
Dark Lover was also suggested and i'm going to read that for the April challenges, so thanks for the heads on on that one!
Gosh, I'm such a slacker, I'm only starting my assigned reading (aka The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson) now. But fear not, I'm on it! I'll report back as soon as I'm done.
Penney, thanks again for recommending Highland Dragon. For a while, I was afraid it wasn't going to live up to the promise of the first couple chapters, but it really picked up in the 2nd half. The evil guy, of course, remained evil, but I liked the way that she 'redeemed' a couple of the characters.AND I have Halfway to the Grave on my April reading list, so double thanks!
FINALLY got around to reading The Crow, which was recommended to me by Gaijinmama. Thank you SO much for giving me the push to read this. I greatly enjoyed it. <3
Hi KimWin Finally read The Summoning - I liked it enough to put my name down for the sequel (the joys of working in a library!).
Thanks for the recs - there are a few more I'll check out as time allows.

Hey Moss, I tried and failed with Sunshine, I felt it had the potential to be a really good read but it was too descriptive for me. Sorry I am still going to try your other recommendations at some point as they all sound good.

I never got my book finished for this month, I'm still going to continue to read it. Thank you Debbie for the suggestion.
Katie,I know this is late, but I thought I'll just let you know that I finally got my copy of Lovely Bones. I just finished reading it, and I have to admit, I would not be a book I would have normally picked.
The prose is highly readable, but for some reason, I couldn't emotionally relate to the characters.
Still overall, it was an interesting read.
Thanks for the recommendation.
