I finished mine as well, which was Hush, Hush recommended to me by Britta. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to move on to one of the other recommendations which was Fallen.

Heather C I got my package from Amazon.I decided to read Moon Called . It looks like fun.
Thanks for recommending it!
Rachel wrote: "I finished mine as well, which was Hush, Hush recommended to me by Britta. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to move on to one of the other recommendations which was [book:Fallen|6..."Congrats, Rachel!
I said I was going to read Soulless or Bitten from Harper's suggestions for me, but I changed my mind and decided to read Jane Eyre. Here is My Review for it, and I hope no one gets turned away from the book because of my review. Really, it's just one person's opinion.
Carolyn F. wrote: "I've started A Girl's Guide to Vampires. Reminds me a lot of Lucy and Ethyl."I just started it too. I hadn't made that connection but it's so true!!!
Angelique, now I'm picked the 2nd book Sex and the Single Vampire for a Spring challenge just because it has Christian in it.
done with Lover Awakened 3/10/10 ★★★★★ On Leah's recommendation I continued the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and read Lover Awakened. I have to say that I am in love with this series now. I knew I would like this story I am so eager to continue it now. Here are my thoughts if you would like to know.
I managed to also read the second recommendation Sherrill gave me which was Need by Carrie Jones and I really enjoyed this one :)
Carolyn F. wrote: "Angelique, now I'm picked the 2nd book Sex and the Single Vampire for a Spring challenge just because it has Christian in it."Carolyn, you just reminded me i have yet to read the last 2 books in the series. The first few books were really one of my favorites...
NewMoonGirl (Hazel) wrote: "I managed to also read the second recommendation Sherrill gave me which was Need by Carrie Jones and I really enjoyed this one :)"Very impressive, Hazel!
NewMoonGirl (Hazel) wrote: "I managed to also read the second recommendation Sherrill gave me which was Need by Carrie Jones and I really enjoyed this one :)"Yeah! I thought that was a great one too! Good to see you were able to finish those reads.
:)
Carrie, I've finished two of your recomedations, Stray and When Darkness Comes. I enjoyed both, although Stray was better written. I now have two new series to enjoy and in two different genres, thanks! I've put My Fair Mistress on my TBR, saving it for just the right challenge (or just because). Thanks again, that was fun!
Carolyn F. wrote: "Angelique, now I'm picked the 2nd book Sex and the Single Vampire for a Spring challenge just because it has Christian in it."I know, I'm ordering it offline as we speak! I loved the book, and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it as well!
Photojim - I ended up loving Over Hexed so much I've got the next two on order. I even managed to get a copy of The Shining in The Shining, Carrie and Misery Omnibus which I'll try to get to this month but it's freaking huge! I need to find a time and place to read it. Thanks for the recs :)
Nairabell, I'm so glad you liked it. The Shining is good, but a completely different kettle of fish. There is no happy bottle of 'special' wine that will make it all better. If you like the Hexed books, you might want to give Vicki Lewis Thompson's Nerd series a go as well. Similar humor but without the PNR angle.
Nairabell, I just finished Bitten. It's great, how many are the series like 15? xD. I order several of them from the library and will be reading it between working on my essays for school xD. Thanks for the rec! Kelley is a great author.=D
Ari - I'm so glad you liked it. I think Frostbitten (the newest one) makes 10, though I'm not sure off the top of my head. :)
Cathy,I just finished one of the many titles you had suggested, Just Say No to Joe. I will most likely get one more done for this month, Highlander Untamed as it is on it's way to my local library.
Thanks for the variety in picks!
Regina,I finished Fantasy Lover last night and loved it! I've already picked up the next book in the series from the library. I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Thanks for the great recommendations!
Becky,I just finished The Summoning. Thanks for recommending it, I did enjoy it. My only complaint is I don't have the sequel yet since the ending is pretty cliff-hanging. Thanks again. :)
Congratulations to Leah, Carolyn, Debbie, Penney, Nairabell, Ari, Sherrill, Amanda and Diane! For those not done with their recommendation, not to worry you still have until the 31st!
Ahrcadia ~(Fhantasie),I just finished Storm Front by Jim Butcher. Excellent recomendation! I had so much fun reading this book, heh. I'll definitely read next book in the series. Thank you so much for introducing Harry to me :D
I finished Killer Takes All recommended to me by Barbara. I really really enjoyed this book. Thanks so much for a good rec, Barbara! I gave it 4 stars.
i'm running a bit behind this month (darn grad school for interrupting my reading), but i'm going to start my recommendation as soon as I finish the eloisa james one i'm reading
Mistress Deanna wrote: "i'm running a bit behind this month (darn grad school for interrupting my reading), but i'm going to start my recommendation as soon as I finish the eloisa james one i'm reading"You're not the only one. Between waiting for my books order and other books i already had lined up. I have yet to even look at the book.
I'm running late too!I got my book the first week of the month but I am still not done with my current read.
Moon Called looks fairly short though so I still have confidence I'll finish by the 31st.

Hi BJ Rose! Thanks again for picking for me. I truly appreciate it! I just finished Mackenzie's Mountain. I loved it. I really loved Wolf's intensity. I thoroughly enjoyed my first romantic suspense. Although, I found myself skimming the action parts to get to the love parts...LOL Thanks again for recommending it and getting me to finally get that book off of my TBR list. I have the entire series so, I can't wait to start the others.
Gigi wrote: "Hi BJ Rose! Thanks again for picking for me. I truly appreciate it! I just finished Mackenzie's Mountain. I loved it. I really loved Wolf's intensity..."Glad you enjoyed Wolf and Mary's story. I reread it every year or two - it just does my heart good!
Pollyanna:I just finished reading The Host and I really liked it! I'm a pretty big fan of science fiction and this even had a little romance thrown in to make it even better. Thank you for the excellent recommendation!

Great I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
I started my pick last night - Desire Unchained - Larissa Ione - enjoying it so far, but I only read a couple of chapters...I'm reading like three books right now to finish up my March challenges...
Congratulations to BJ Rose and Sara!Deanna- I know what you mean. I have a read-a-thon this weekend that i'm hoping will help me finish this months challenges.
Penny, just wanted to let you know that I just started Highland Dragon and am impressed so far - the prologue and first chapter really caught my attention!
Hmm..not having luck this month. My book is still on reserved from the library. Looks like I won't get it anytime before March ends.Anyway, Katie, I appreciate the recommendation, and I will still read it once it falls into my hands.
Hi - I just finished the book that Lydia recommended for me: Unwind
For those of you who have read and enjoyed Hunger Games, I highly recommend this book. It is really fascinating and sticks with that dystopian YA theme. The premise is that there has been a second civil war in the US - The Heartland War - which was between pro-choice and pro-life groups. They reach a settlement that agrees From conception - 13 y/o no child can be touched. But from 13-18, parents can basically reverse their decision and 'unwind' their children.
Unwinding is basically a really advanced organ donation program, where every single part of the person is reused, so that they can say that the person never really dies, they are just 'divided'.
That said, it isnt so conroversial or graphic that you shoudl avoid it - it is really a YA book that is highly readable and very fast-paced.
Try it if you like this kind of stuff! I LOVED it!
Congrats, Bridgit! That really sucks, Yz the Whyz. One more reason why i rarely get books from the library.
BJ Rose wrote: "Penny, just wanted to let you know that I just started Highland Dragon and am impressed so far - the prologue and first chapter really caught my attention!"I am very happy to hear it! She only has two books out and they're both great (a little out of the box). Enjoy!

I have a pretty limited book budget, so I really have to prioritize which books do I purchase. Furthermore, despite this little glitch, I belong to a wonderful library system. I usually get my books, ordering them online, and they get delivered right to my doorstep. Who can beat that? : ) It's almost like a Netflix for books without a monthly fee.
Wow, that does sound really good. I want to look into the Sony ereader and US library program for that reason. It would be nice to see if i can really borrow ebooks from the library and have it show up on my ereader. It seems the file is automatically deleted from the ereader on the return date.
I have a question. Are Kindle on your PC pdf's compatible with the Sony ereader? Does anyone know? The Sony ereader sounds very appealing!

I don't own an ereader, so I might not be right. Our library system is affiliated with Overdrive.com, and it allows you to download books to your ereader.

Kindle is actually a format unlike any of the others. In fact it's the competition to Sony and Nook. Both of which also have their own format that the others can use. So when you use Kindle on your PC, they are not pdf's since Adobe is with Sony. Those Kindle books can only be read in a kindle ereader or the PC reader program.
