Finished with hours to spare!! Purfume was an interesting book. There where point that made me say "what?!" outloud and made the story very unique. It is a nice weird read if you are ever in the mood for a far out there book!

Stand Alone Novels:

Anthologies:
5. Unbound by Kim Harrison, etc.
6. Eternal Lover by Hannah Howell, etc.

Trilogy: Fred the Mermaid by MaryJanice Davidson

Sibling Rank (#1):

I read Perfume a few years ago and really liked it, too. Very strange little novel (about a serial killer with a supernatural sense of smell, for those who don't know about it), but good all the same.

That's it for me. Couldn't find the last book in the trilogy and I'm not sure how motivated I will be to find it. Not terribly fond of the set. Oh well.

-It depends on which parent, so I'm just putting down two books (for first born(mom) and second born(dad)).

Stand-alone Books
1. American Gods
2. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
3.
American Gods could be a debate point. There is actually another book, Ananzi Boys, that is in the same 'series' as American Gods, but as it is a totally different story using the same premise as American Gods, and does not contain any of the same characters, you could debate the use of the term 'series' being applied to it. If you want to catch up with Shadow, though, he appears in at least one other short story, I think in Fragile Things. I am trying to rememeber if he shows up in any other short stories, for some reason I think there might be two that I have read. Sorry if I am not doing this right, I am new to this...

Americ..."
Unfortunately, I never made it to American Gods anyway - I swapped it for a shorter book. *blushes*
So both American Gods and Anansi Boys are still sitting on my shelf, looking forlornly at me. I'm about halfway through Fragile Things so I'll keep an eye out for the Shadow story now since American Gods has been added to a different challenge for April.
