Yes :)

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments As usual I will post as I go. I only have one of these chosen in my head so far so we will see what comes up.

1. Dial 'M' for... book?

2. What do test-tube babies have that other babies don't? A womb with a view. Happy Birthday all you test-tube babies out there.

3. Parlez vous francais? Or maybe this book is just about the French kiss.

4. it's not easy being green or "I-rish" you were here

5. War! Good God ya'll. What is it good for? Absolutely nothin'!

6. SWF seeks DDF FWB CPL is ok. (no WS - send photo) -

7. Does 2003 count as historical? Why do we keep having to look back? Perhaps I've not stated strongly enough how much I dislike historicals.

8. In the land of the two-named, the three-named shall be king. How else do you think Jan Michael Vincent got a staring role in anything?

9. These can't be the top 100 romance novels. After all, there are historical romances in the list.

10. Reader's choice is a lot like Sophie's choice. Well, except for that whole death camp thing really.

I checked with Yz, and we are allowed to read other books written by authors featured on that list. (She doesn't like the idea much, but I can't force myself to read something I know I won't like just to complete a challenge!) Jayne Ann Krentz is on the list, so I'll be reading White Lies from her Arcane Society instead of Lady's Choice or Wildest Hearts. Hopefully this will work for you too!

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Steph, enjoy your trip to the land of the rising sun and make sure you don't stay away from us too long.

Mel, Debbie, and Sandra, thanks. I try to have a little fun each month. I do it as much for my amusement as anything, but it's nice to know you notice.

Amanda, I went through and kept looking up the titles on GR until I found a contemporary that I haven't read. Then I ordered it through my library system. I'm sure whatever it is will be fine. (I really don't remember what it is and don't feel like logging into my library networks to see what and where I ordered it from.) I'm a bit surprised at the list though. Many of the books are from 20 years ago and/or have poor or few ratings through GR. Not sure how the list was compiled, but it is as good as any pool if we are using mandatory picks.
