Helloo I'm Vanessa and I am from Venezuela. I have to admit that Jane Austen is my favorite writer ever and I love Pride and Prejudice I believe is one of the best books I ever read

Hi! I'm Anne, and I started reading Jane Austen last year; I began with Pride and Prejudice and LOVED IT!!!I haven't yet read every novel by her, but I'm really looking forward to it, and discussing it with you Janeites!!! :)
Hi I'm JL. I just did P&P in English but only the movie and I really enjoyed it. When I mentioned it to my Nan she gave the complete works of Jane Austen :)
I just finished P&P and I really enjoyed it. Now I'm going to work my way through the other stories. Any suggestions on where to start?

This looks like an incredibly popular group! I'm . . . slightly awed by the amount of members you have here xD Hi! I'm Johanna. I joined this group a little while back, but I haven't yet introduced myself.
I'm a bit of a newbie, as the only novels I've read so far are Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. That being said, I've watched every film adaptation I can get my hands on, (at least one version of each, I think) and I adore them all. My favourites have to be the 1995 Pride and Prejudice, and the 2009 Emma. I have a rather large to-read list at the moment, but I hope to read Persuasion and Emma in the not-so-far future.
Other than that, I'm pretty much your average bibliophile; I adore writing, reading, languages, and my other favourite authors include Tolkien and Doyle.
I prefer Mr. Knightley to Mr. Darcy.

Loved the movie, had a cold...read Emma and kept on reading and watching movies. I'm once and awhile reading some other classics too. Need to do more.

Hello! I'm a newbie to the group, although I've been a fan of Austen for quite some time! I think I read my first Austen book when I was 13 or 14, and I've loved her ever since! I must admit though... I haven't read all her novels yet. I'm working on it though! I adore P&P and S&S (They were the subject of my college capstone). I've seen the film adaptation of Emma and adore it as well, so I'm thinking I'll love the novel just as much. I'm very excited about chatting with some other Janeites!

Hello!I'm Lydia. Austen fan since eleven years old. Still haven't managed to get all of her books read though because I'm always reading so many things. Mansfield Park, Persuasion, and Northanger Abbey are still on the To Read list. Pride and Prejudice is up there among my favorite books of all time.
