No, I have never read Mockingjay. I was thinking about reading the series but I'm not sure yet. They are not 100% "my kind of books" but there's still I chance I would enjoy them. So I might!

I had to read a few plays(mostly Shakespeare) in high school! I don't think I would ever read them in my free time! :-p

Mark, I liked the first 2 Hunger Games books but Mockingjay isn't that good :( It's a shame because it's the last book in the trilogy! It's definitely holding me back.

Kristin, woo! You are finally done with Mockingjay! I'm not so sure if I want to read the trilogy anymore.

I say, read the first one because it's terrific! Then you might want to read the next 2! Most people on GoodReads seemed to give Mockingjay 5 stars, and a few gave it only 3. So I guess it depends!

Just finished book #3 - Sister of My Heart! A beautiful story about 2 Indian cousins who grow up with family secrets and are forced into arranged marriages! One ends up in America, one is in India. It was a wonderful book!

Now onto Devil in the White City which a few of my friends have raved about!

I've seen Blink around! Devil in the White City is also non-fiction...about America's first serial killer!!

So I just re-read Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. I read this for the first time last year, and I have to admit, I didn't like it. I thought it was a very one-dimensional book. But I read it again today and I now see that there is so much more to the book than I originally thought. I do recommend it...it's a quick read. You can probably finish it in a day if you have nothing else to do.

Anyhow....hope you two are enjoying your reads.

I just finished Handle with Care. It was my second Picoult book. I was hesitant to read it because I didn't like "My Sister's Keeper."

"Handle with Care" is about a girl with a brittle bone disease where she will break hundreds of bones within her lifetime. Can you imagine? Her mother is suing her daughter's doctor, who is actually the mother's best friend. The lawsuit is a "wrongful birth" case.

Anyway, after reading reviews it seems like others have compared this book to "My Sister's Keeper." I liked it better, though. A 2-star read for me.

I read My Sister's Keeper and now plan on reading Jodi Picoult's books in the order they were written! Apparently the same lawyers appear in different books! I have 10 of her books on my shelf to read hahaha!

That sounds like a different book! I'll have to get to it eventually :-p

Yep! I got the hardcover for Christmas. It's actually the last book I got for Christmas. :( After this, they will all have been read!

Finished a couple others. So far all school work. But maybe I'll get to read something fun over Spring Break.

Spring is coming here in PA! I'm working in center city Philadelphia, so i'm enjoying it very much!

I'm currently reading Water for Elephants and the movie adaptation comes out in April :)

Goodreads is telling me that I'm falling behind on my 2011 Reading Challenge to read 50 books. :( I just started a new job and I barely read at all last week because I was training. I hope that once I settle into a schedule I'll be able to keep reading almost as much!

How does GoodReads track it? I thought we just tracked it ourselves. If it is 3-in-1, maybe you should input the books in separate titles, instead of the 1 edition that has them all.

I was soaring through Sisterhood Everlasting, but because of my training at work, I didn't get to read it at all this past week! :( So I'm a little behind on my challenge. I definitely have to start reading faster! :)

My reading has been coming along slowly. But I recently got back to it. I've been reading Lasher by Anne Rice. I thought I had read it before, but I guess not because I don't remember any of it. Anyhow, it's pretty good and I should finish it tonight.

I just finished reading 22 Britannia Road and loved it. It's definitely one of the best books I've read all year!
