I just finished Sherrilyn Kenyon's book Born of Night, it completes the space section, I just have to say that I really LOVED this book! I forgot that they were even in space. It was a very good read! I kept putting it off, but I am ready to read the next book in this series. Kenyon yet again made another great series.

MARTINA'S JANUARY LIST - 7/10 COMPLETEJust finished reading Blaze of Memory (Psy-Changeling, Book 7) by Nalini Singh, which I give four stars.
The Psy-Changeling series are paranormal romance novels that take place in a futuristic Earth where the populace has evolved into three separate types of humans: plain human, shapeshifters, and Psy. The most prevalent shapeshifters in the books are a feline group (DarkRiver) and a wolf pack (SnowDancer). The Psy are humans who have psychic powers of varying types & strengths, but who because of a wave of violence long ago, have eschewed emotions entirely for a way of life called "Silence".
In this particular book, we meet an off-shoot of the Psy called "The Forgotten" who are a handful of those with psychic powers who did not embrace the protocool of "Silence". The leader of The Forgotten, Dev Santos, discovers a mysterious woman unconscious at his front door. Battered, beaten and with amnesia, she's unable to tell even her name, but she knows that she's dangerous to him. She's recognized by an ally as Katya Haas, a full-Psy scientist who has been missing and was thought to be dead. Now it's revealed that Katya is likely to be a sleeper agent sent to either kill Dev and others of The Forgotten. Can her love overcome her programming?
I've been reading this series for a couple years now and wasn't disappointed in this one, either. I didn't quite enjoy it as much as the books that feature a changeling pair, but it was still awfully good and I enjoyed the furthering of the series arc storyline, as well as the romance between Dev & Katya. I look forward to reading the next one!

Archer, I felt the first... meh 100 pages were really dry. I got really into to it towards the end though. I'm told the series gets better as it moves along. Did you atleast like Lucas and his panther?

I am not loving Awaken Me Darkly either. Not that its a bad book or poorly written its just not my type of story I guess. Oh well I will finish it and then more on to my next book.
