Everyone seems to hate this book, but it was my favorite in the series so far!

Ok, last night instead of reading another of my books for THIS challenge, I went and read one for my HOLIDAYS challenge. I'd ordered A Touch of Dead but didn't really plan on reading it. Then, when it came in I glanced at the stories in it and realized that there was one that I hadn't read. So I sat and read it. :o) So, for 2 of my challenges I'm at 2 books in each. Sigh, gotta buckle down and get some work done today, so no reading til probably 9 or so. I'm having the same issue! I finally figured out I'm just sick of hearing about Lash and the glymera, so since that revelation, I've been skip-reading around in the book, going back to scenes that turned out to be important rather than just Lash whining about his budget or Wrath feeling guilty.

Kelley Anne -- I have that problem when I start a series. I end up sidetracked when I get into it. I love to try to read the entire series back-to-back to avoid problems :)

I ALWAYS get trapped in a series...once I start reading it, there is just no stopping if I am into it--so I have learned my lesson and try to add several books to my challenge lists.

Well, I only added Lover Unbound because I'd tried reading it before, a few months ago. And I just couldn't get into it at the time. So, although I added it to the challange, I wasn't sure if I would actually read it or go on to an alternate, and didn't want to add the other two in the series in case I didn't read it!

Oh well, learned my lesson. I loved it this time! Not sure why I couldn't get into it before. Now I'm almost done with Lover Enshrined. Then one more and then I'll get back to the challange! lol, at least it wasn't the first book in the series! This way I'm only side tracked by 2 books, not 5 or 6!

I love the BDB series!!! One of my top fav! Lover Enshrined was not my fav book though, he is the weakest of the brothers. I love the whole Butch/V relationship though, so funny!! You only have Lover Avenged now!! I agree, better the last couple to get hooked.
