Odette (odman) | 1153 comments Perhaps we do! I enjoy a variety of genres and lately have been reading a number of historical fiction.
The quality of writing was very impressive in Code Name Hélène, and the two timelines worked so well together.
Ariel Lawhon has written several other books, and feel I should try another one.

The last I read by her was The Frozen River (last year) and it was brilliant! Shot to the top of my favourites for last year. So I would recommend that one for sure!

I have the book, The Cruellest Month, at home, sitting in my TBR pile. One of the novels in the Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny. So I would prefer to stick with this, rather than seek out another title.
