Late last night I had finished Shavetails and Bell Sharps: The History of the U.S. Army Mule
Emmett M. Essin
4 stars!
This was an excellent review of how mules were used in the US Army from the days of the Mexican -American War all the way to World War II. The shavetails were new mules just recruited into service so one needed to be careful around them and bell sharps were the old experienced mules who knew how to follow the mare (generally a white mare) with bells on her. The book actually made me laugh in a few places.
"The Institution" by author Helen Fields. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Full of the science of psychology, as Dr. Connie unravels extraordinarily twisted and evil minds to rescue someone missing.
The Children of the Roses
3.5 stars. Read as a #NetGalley #ARC
Sequel to the fabulous
sobering and strangely tender.

Yesterday I had finished reading:One Golden Summer
Carley Fortune
3 stars
I was enjoying this book and I did find it rather relaxing as lots of it was fluffy but then something had happened so I lost interest - I did finish it though.
And today I finished these two:
The Wild One
Terri Farley
5 stars!!
This had tons of danger and thrills! And Sam has that special relationship with the Phantom! But can she save him from the evil man??
Cheyenne Horses
Kay Livorse
4 stars
A very short children's book that introduces you to the Cheyenne tribe and how they live, play and how they were a horse culture.
dark descent by hazel black my rating was 4 stars but it was the weirdest book i have read so far mixed feelings lol
From The Shadows by Juan Jose’ Millas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had never heard of “absurdist fiction” until I discovered this novel… I have found a new genre to explore as well as a new author📚:)
Karre, I just added Six Little Words to my WTR list. As a visual artist, I love reading stories about artists, especially painters🎨😊
I finished this late last night:Love Craves Cardamom
Aashna Avachat
3 stars
The "secrets" in here were super easy to guess and the romance was very fluffy. It was like a Disney animated movie. I would have enjoyed it more if the plot would have been more interesting.

Ron Krajewski

Tons of suspects in here to keep you guessing and lots of plot twists too.
What Does It Feel Like?
4 stars
Deeply personal and disarmingly honest mirroring her own life

Bryan Lee O'Malley
A graphic novel about not fitting in and the endless thoughts that puts into your head. It's also about a girl going on a road trip with a new bunch of people.
4 stars
I have now finished the novella:Beasts
Ingvild Bjerkeland
5 stars!
An exciting very vivid survival story about two kids trying to reach the coast so they can escape these dark furred beasts with hooves.
The Woman in Me by Britney Spears and I rated it a 4.5, it was soo good! really broke my heart to hear what she actually went through during the conservatorship
