I love this group, but wanted to say that this month I have too many other demands on time to participate. I have been moved to a different grade to teach and need to set up a new room and do some lesson planning.Happy reading! I will return when I can.

Just come back to the group whenever you feel ready, even if you don’t have time to commit to challenges.

Unless you're spending your summer working on next year's work? But it all sounds positively exciting! Have a lovely time xxx
Vicky - & everyone else! - it’s never too late to try one of the challenges here. Also, unlike some groups, there’s no page limit for the books to read for challenges. So, read a short story if you want to catch up - short stories save time & also allow us to try an unfamiliar author without a huge commitment. I have one I’ll probably read this month - it’s only 24 pages. Remember, this group is about having fun!
Is it okay to use a book for both 1,2,3 and for BLACK & WHITE? I'm reading a short story by Agatha Christie and the title has Black in it but I want to use Christie for the Letter C as well, if that's ok?

You can choose how much you want to do for the challenge. I put a book into both sections at first, but decided I wouldn’t have time to do everything.

After looking more closely at the photos I must ask if one really has installed TV:s in barns for the cows to watch at one time? I do hope it's a joke of some sort.

My goodness!
I didn't quite make it, I didn't manage to fulfill any reading for letters K in Black and I in White in time but I did finish the wonderful story by Lee Harper in time. What a great book, what a wonderful portrait of a very loved father.

I started full of enthusiasm, didn’t enjoy my first book much then got sidetracked into doing other things.

1 that have black or white in the title
2 written by authors whose name includes Black or White
For example
Black Beauty by Anna Sewell
The Willows by Algernon Blackwood
Some Must Watch by Ethel Lina White
If you want more choice, perhaps you can also find some classics that have black & white covers. For the ultimate difficult challenge, can you spell out BLACK or WHITE using the first letters of classic book titles or initials of their authors?
