Maven or Cal???
I honestly loved Cal from the beginning and you know Maven was there and I was also used to the idea that he was there. But, I wanted so much for Mare to be with Cal and you know they wanted each other. So when Maven turned out to be a bitch I was just like "ok I liked you, thought you were the sad brother. Now you will die". So I hate the bitch and really hope Cal and Mare will end up together.
After a long time of not visiting good reads due to exams and life in general I am back to saying I LOVE MAVEN!! The redeemed maven!!!
I know she will end up with Cal but I never saw any chemistry between them. I just love maven and I don't know. He deserves someone better than Mare...

Maven all the way honestly, I loved Maven as soon as I started reading the book and I still love him now that I've finished Glass Sword, and Maven and Mare are honestly so much cuter than Mare and CalI don't even care though I'm Mare/Maven trash okay deal with it
But Maven BRANDED HER. He burned a letter M onto her skin. I'm sorry, but that's not love, it's abuse.
Maven is the shining star of this series. Everything revolves around him. At this point I am not shipping anyone but I am just waiting for book 3 and well depending on that I will decide. But I will always prefer Maven and him and Mare do have sizzling chemistry....
So I read Glass Sword too so that changed my thoughts. Cal is the handsome, grown up, bad boy. Maven is the quiet, overlooked brother. Maven was overtaken by his mother but he wouldn't tell her to stop. CAL all the way. The dance lessons and how she fleas to his bead chamber in the second book makes my thoughts final.
Team Cal! I just love the person he is.. Sorry!

also, and I'm pretty sure someone will shout at me for this, but the dance lessons made me cringe so much. The whole thing was so cliche and I preferred Mare and Maven together right until the end

How could you all ship Maven with Mare ? I´ve fallen for Cal in the first book... and now i´m reading the second one (glass sword) and Maven is such an asshole. He kills people and hurts her. I know a lot of girls like the `bad boy´ but he is´´nt just a bad boy he is a horrible person with no heart. (idk what happens in the third book but right know i hate him omg)

I'm so Team Maven, I feel like they are perfect together and I believe someone should show Maven that there's something more than just hate and that's love aka mare
You see, I was Cal up until RIGHT BEFORE MAVEN BETRAYED MARE. I liked Cal more just because he met her first, and therefore most likely fell in love with her first. I also thought it was weird that Maven had quickly started to like Mare after being so against their betrothal... also... MY HEART ACHES TOO MUCH EVERY TIME HE SHOWS UP

You guys are making me crazy... maven? Are you serious? I think that boy needs a taste of his own medicine for what he has done. That boy is messed up. He can change I do believe. Can't he? But that still doesn't mean I trust him. He could tell me his deepest secret but that doesn't mean I trust him either. I believe he could do good, but his mother made him this way. He needs to get his act together and then maybe, just maybe, will I fight for team Maven.

Neither. I feel like everyone in the book is waiting to see who she ends up falling in love with. I don't think she has super strong feelings for either of them. I think she should find someone with similar views to her own.
That's actually a very good analysis. It'd be cool if she found someone she feels very strongly for.
I feel that depending on book 3 we will see who she has stronger feelings for. But I don't really think she is in any position to fall in love now considering what happened in book 2. But for some reason it seemed that she missed the old Maven in book 2, like her keeping the notes etc.

I must admit I liked Cal in the beginning then Maven came along as 'fiance'' so I started to get used to the idea of him so much that Cal was almost overshadowed
But then the famous line "Anyone can betray anyone" was put into action and BAM Maven fangirl club ended there.
