Sorry I don't know how this ended up on this thread. I was responding to Sandra's review of A Hard Day for a Hangover

I'm at 43% and it will take me two more weeks to read this, if I'm going to me optimistic.
I finished listening to:
First Born by Will Dean and it has one of the most stunning twists I’ve ever encountered!
my review
His Happy Place by Zakiya Dalila Harris, Getaway #2, and liked this story that begins with the ending.
my review
I’m listening to Slammedby Colleen Hoover, Slammed #1.

After reading your reviews, I put this book on my TBR list. It wasn't at my library then, so I requested they add it to their collection, which they did recently.
I loved it. There is no way I can't move forward with that ending. Now I have another series on my TBR. My list will never decrease with this group.😏

The second book is just as good as the first, Sharon. I'm waiting for my library to post the third book so I can get on the waiting list.

I finished My Darkest Prayer by S.A. Cosby - the new version of his first novel with an introductory letter by the author to be released in Dec. 2022. It's obvious in later books Blacktop Wasteland and Razorblade Tears has much he hones his craft in the genre over time. 3.5 Stars

I finished Exiles by Jane Harper releasing in the US Jan. 31, 2023. This is the 3rd and final book in the Aaron Falk series and so worthy of being the finale. It's an intricate, character driven, cleverly plotted mystery that absolutely mesmerized me. 5 Stars. My Review

I finished the new deluxe version of The Godfather by Mario Puzo (couldn't find the new version in the drop down menu but it is on Goodreads as you can see below). This book is a classic for a reason - 5 Stars for sure! And the new 50th Anniversary Deluxe version is simply stunning. I was fortunate to receive a hardback copy from the publisher and was blown away by it. Hardcore fans will delight in this must have collector's edition. My Review
