Picked up my reserve from my library today The Liars by Petronella McGovern
And as I was about to walk out this book caught my eye as I loved the cover, so I borrowed it as well Violeta by Isabel Allende

paid for with some of the gift voucher I received on my retirement. Looking forward to reading both of these!

Thanks Brenda. It’s not often I buy books these days as I borrow most of them from my library. It saves me a lot of money especially seeing as the price of living has gone up so much. 🙁
I received, just now, my third copy of
I had entered one a long time before the A&U giveaway and won that, won the monthly one (passed it on to reading friends), but today's one is definitely a spare. I emailed the A&U contact on the book. Shame for it to go to waste.

I also received a second copy today 🤷🏻♀️ I’m almost finished reading the first copy they sent me lol but don’t think I’ll read it again…I’ve promised it to a friend.
