These are my pick-ups for the last week, from library surplus (50c each!), Vinnies and one from Salvos. Very pleased with my swag!

Oh wow Marianne, you got number four in the series! I will be reading number three soon. So glad I found them on audio. Good book deliveries!
I returned from holidays to these from A&U with thanks:

Collected a library reserve:'The Boy Who Lost His Spark by Maggie O'Farrelland picked up The Night Tide by Di Morrissey from the street library
I bought a second hand copy of Still Life by Louise Penny at the local used bookstore yesterday. There seems to be a run on it at the Tasmanian State Library - currently 26 holds on a total of 10 copies (including large print)! For a book published in 2005, this seems fairly unusual. I wonder if there are a whole lot of closet "Aussie Readers" members who (like me) are reading it for our January challenge?

Haha frustrating Sarah! I've been trying to buy the whole series, but haven't had any success yet (for a reasonable price)

I really enjoyed your reviews of those Ryan Holiday books, Krystal! You have made me excited to start mine now!
My nephew and his partner gave me a copy of The Paris Bookseller for my birthday. Inspired by the woman who opened Shakespeare and Co bookshop, my book came with a voucher for that very bookshop as I am going to Paris in April.
Out today getting groceries and sneaking empty 6-bottle wine boxes from outside several liquor stores: perfect for packing up hubby's motorcycle magazines that are "worth something". Stopped at Salvos Woonona as a little reward and picked up These Precious Days by Ann Patchett for $3.30 empty boxes: will need more by next week...
