You're having a lot of luck with them, Sharah! It's good they give decent time to review.

Marianne.. I get heaps, then none. I don't know what that's all about!

My reward for my 4-weekly plasma donation is to browse Wollongong charity shops and the street library. Today I picked up, at the Red Cross shop, A Narrow Door by Joanne Harris for $3

Suz wrote: "From the author today, waiting for me after work,
When the Light Goes Out written by Lisa Myers"Looks good, Suz! I'm curious what you think of this one. Think it will be a powerful read.
I'm glad people have been receiving their Better Reading books too! My sister is still moping that Keeping Up Appearances by Tricia Stringer never arrived for her Haha
When I saw that there's a sequel coming, I checked out The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson before the library shuts down for a 10 day Christmas break. Because otherwise I'll have nothing to read, LOL
I picked up Where the Crawdads Sing for $4 from Salvos. Very happy to find it because I haven't been 100% convinced enough to buy it full price so this works lol
Well done Krystal. I loved it when I read it from the library, and have been tempted to buy it, but still haven't!

I'll let you know how I go with it, Rowan. I was so happy she wrote to me. If your sister won the copy and it didn't arrive Rowan, if she emailed them and let them know they would resend. I emailed once saying I couldn't locate (I looked so hard and had the whole family look for it) as I was worried if I didn't review they wouldn't send me any more. They were fine about it and resent. They definitely would want to know their things didn't arrive.
3 books for Christmas
by Nicholas Sparks
By Kaye Dobbie
by Heather Webber.Only trouble is now I want to start on them instead of the library book already started reading.
I received for Christmas,
Radio Girl by AA David Dufty
I've been searching for this one for awhile, and refused to pay the asking price. Even the ebook was too expensive. Black Friday helped my family out ;)

Nice Kim.
Disappointed! Requested, and was so looking forward to Ben Hobson's book, today received Genevieve Gannon's, which I did not ask for!Have contacted A&U....
I wonder what A&U books I will have waiting when I get home. From Old Bar library I picked this up today, on my TBR
for a dollar. From the camp kitchen we grabbed
I have already deposited my copy of
and will keep doing so if I read more physical books before I go home.
I had a funeral to attend in Fawkner and popped into the nearby Salvos afterwards. All books were $1 so I picked up Live and Let Fry
It's Not Always Black And White both for me
Death in Daylesford
Where the Crawdads Sing for my street library
The 26-Storey Treehouse
The 39-Storey Treehouse for my great niece
The Complete Fashion Sketchbook: Creative Ideas and Exercises to Make the Most of Your Fashion Sketchbook for my workmate who runs a Fashion Club with our students
They all sound great, Diana. I want to start a community book drop off at my local shops. I have to talk to them when I return from holidays. I have bags and bags of good books I need to pass on. I could probably maintain it with stock myself for a good while.
That's such a phenomenal Christmas book haul, Kim! Enjoy reading those. I'm grateful to have received
The Gifted Son by Genevieve Gannon and
The Death of John Lacey by Ben Hobson courtesy Allen & Unwin. Both look like great reads! I'm keen to get started.
