Well done Duke - a clear winner in this round. No scores were particularly high but Blastro's Doggies did very well over in Perth. A single Covid case in Western Australia meant the State government banned spectators at very late notice (it was a sold-out game and many fans turned up, not having heard the edict). Hey there Val. My humble apologies for missing the last few weeks, it's not been a year that'll rate amongst the top ones and this last month-or-two.... less said the better. And just when yer at your lowest, you get kicked again - we lost one of our pooches a week ago. Little Molly bless her. Anyways, Feeling strong enough now to at least file all the shit away somewhere way back in the dark chasms of my mind and until I can properly deal with it and that'll have to do for the time being. I'll try to keep it there. If I go missing again, you'll know it's all out n on the loose again.
Can count on one hand how many times I've been online over this last few weeks and that's been just to send the odd message on here and FB Messenger. Haven't so much as looked at the forum front end until today.

I'm re-posting this weekend's fixture because Covid has it all up in the air. Some venues have been changed and some are not locked in yet. Because we have 6 states and 2 territories, all with their own elected governments (of varying political persuasions) and health officers, hard border lockdowns can occur at any time. Last year Victoria had the most cases and the AFL season was reduced to 16 rounds with all Victorian teams based in Queensland (the divorce fall-out among players, coaches, etc is still being felt). Currently Victoria is looking squeaky clean, but there are "red zones" in Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory. Accordingly, the 2 teams from Western Australia, the 2 from Queensland and the 2 from New South Wales have all re-located to Melbourne for who knows how long. Scheduling is now a nightmare and there will be winners and losers. Hint: Sydney will be favoured playing on the smaller ground down at Geelong. Round 17 may even see game(s) played in Ballarat.This is what Round 16 looks like right now:

A while back their coach was questioned about a poor crowd turnout at Marvel and he said their fans didn't like to travel. It's a whole 3 miles from the M.C.G.! I think they've lost the hunger, plus they've got a few key injuries and I suspect Dusty has been playing with an injury all season - either that or other teams have worked out how to negate him.
