Randy Money | 432 comments I haven't read Macardles' novel, but if you get the chance and haven't seen it, the movie 1940s version with Ray Milland and Gail Russell is very good.

I just read The Fourth Monkey and was really impressed. I ordered the other two books in the trilogy and can hardly wait to read them.

Renee (elenarenee) I finished the summer of 69. The book was pure trash. It was filled with entitled white people. Yes I know it was the times. But the times brought us to where we are now. Marching with King does not change the fact that you think its okay to go to a club that does not allow Jewish..

I just ordered The Fourth Monkey :) Glad to hear that it’s another amazing piece by Barker and that you enjoyed it. The trilogy sounds great, looking forward to hearing how you like the next two books!

yesss, i actually saw it when i was a kid and wanted to read the book ever since. it was surprisingly hard to find a copy though!

I finished a couple: In That Endlessness, Our End by Gemma Files.

Also, Salt Water Tears by Brian Hopkins.

Lastly, Nothing But Blackened Teeth by Cassandra Khaw. (This novella here knocked me the hell out, it was so good!)

That's Hendrix's best book, imo. Only the lyrics and song titles alone would be worth the read, he's really good at writing heavy metal songs.

it was alright. i thought it was a little predictable and didn't like how much it jumped pov. it was still worth the read though! i like darcy coates' writing usually. :)
