Just cleared another ebook - The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Dare. This is a beautiful story full of hope and determination. I loved the way the author used language to convey the journey of her main character. “We all be speaking different because we all are having different growing-up life, but we can all be understanding each other if we just take the time to listen well.” Definitely worth reading! 5 stars

Just cleared another ebook - The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow. The writing in this book is very good! But the plot took a bit to get going, and I felt I had to work for understanding at the beginning. Really interesting world and characters! “There’s only one way to run away from your own story, and that’s to sneak into someone else’s.” “Because the place you are born isn’t necessarily the place you belong.” Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars

Just completed another ebook - The A.I. Who Loved Me by Alyssa Cole. Well, that was delightfully unexpected! I anticipated a quirky, soft Sci fi romance, but there were deep layers in this one that turned the story in interesting ways. Cannot wait for the next one! Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars

Just cleared another ebook - The Fifth Witness by Michael Connelly. So frustrated with this ending, it just ruined the whole book for me. Up until then I was a solid four stars. There’s some toxic masculinity and gendered thinking, but the law was correct. And then it just flipped. If I didn’t have to read one of these books for book club, I would stop with this entire series right now. 2 stars
