Hi JoAnne,
I am happy you asked that question because it gives me a chance to clarify what I know is confusing to some readers. Beginning with Murder Wears Mittens, the series is being published by a new publisher (Kensington Pubs). To indicate the new, fresh start, we changed the tag, adding the word 'society ' (a name a character in the latest book calls the knitters). And to indicate the seaside knitters new home, it's numbered as "1" in publishing lists. All that being said, it's the same characters, town, and a continued and deeper look into their lives and those of the townsfolk.
Again, thank you for asking and I hope you enjoy the new mystery. I think it's my favorite. Happy summer. Sally(less)

The knitters are involved in a new venture--a beautiful old farm that's been rehabbed into a picturesque setting, a barn that houses a state of the art kitchen, and old harvest tables at which diners enjoy the fruits of the land. When the town's family doctor dies at one of the farm events, the knitters become involved in finding the murderer.(less)

The Murder in Merino winners have been selected and my publisher said the books are in the mail. Congratulations! And many thanks to all of you for joining in the fun. I hope summer is setting in for all of you and that you are sitting by a beach reading a great book! (Hmmmmm...wouldn't it be nice?)
