Morgan (faeriesfolly) | 522 comments Ooh! Fun new stuff! :D

Question about the garden (just checking my understanding): Every time you complete the start through watering you receive: 1 Carrot, 1 Snap Pea and 3 Experience a week after watering.

And then you can restart for another go from the start through watering again (once you get the reward, you can read another princess book, another horse or rabbit book, and another book set at sea to get the reward all over again with no added wait time after you "harvest")?

message 6852: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments Yes. You just have to wait the week after watering. Plus only one set of veggies can be going at a time.

Wait a minute. I thought that to water the garden I need to read only 1 book. • Read 1 book set at sea or with water on the cover to water your garden.

Also it seemed at first reading that one week after watering the garden you can harvest both 1 Carrot and 1 Snap Pea. If you can harvest only one of those it would be good to put it into the description.

BTW, Love the update, Kelly. With the addition of spells it's starting to look like a real badass RPG. :)

message 6855: by Morgan (last edited Jul 05, 2016 11:12AM) (new)

Morgan (faeriesfolly) | 522 comments With each repetition of the quest you get 1 carrot and 1 snap pea. One week after you have read the 3 books needed.

But if you want more than that 1 carrot and 1 snap pea (one set = one of each), you start the quest again. You just can't have several instances of the quest in progress at once.

message 6856: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments You plant both, then water them, one week later you can harvest both. Then you can immediately plant again and water, then one week later harvest,

You just can't plant 2 Snap Peas and 2 Carrots and water them at the same time. Sadly, your garden isn't very big.

message 6857: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments And I'm glad you like the update :) We've been working on how to do spells without unbalancing everything for awhile now.

Zuzana | 2570 comments Thanks, Morgan& Kelly, for explaining how to go about the garden. Now it's quite clear. :)

Rebecca (rebeccasg) | 3799 comments Sorry I'm being super slow right now. But for part 3 we are just getting trained in the spells right? SO we complete the quests to get the pieces...then use the pieces to cast the spell?

So when you say certain monsters are susceptible to certain magiks....that would be later on in the game when there are more monsters?

Reva (revans) | 2481 comments Sorry for my ignorance:

The 10 spices for Gregoff --are they supposed to be SALT? If not, where do they come from?

Yes, sorry. They're salts. I've updated it.

Zuzana | 2570 comments (for starters) I will probably choose only one of the kinds of magic and focus on that. Now to figure out which one.

Yes. Part 3 is learning the magic. In 2 months the Great White Dragon will arrive for battle though.

Other monsters will start coming in with weaknesses and strengths though.

Artie (artabra) | 212 comments I have a doubt about the Sticks and Stones may Build a House quest:

2) Make Foundation - Read a book about someone getting an education to build their foundation.

Does the book have to focus on the "getting an education" part? The Deal focus is romance, but it also has the characters in college and their relationship starts with the girl helping the love interest with his studies. Would it count?

message 6868: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments Yeah, if they're the main characters and in college that would be fine.

Reva (revans) | 2481 comments Just to clarify For the barn:

• A book with doors on the cover because... well.. your horse has a problem.

1. Door or doors?

2 Would car doors qualify?

I'm ok with a single door. And I'll also give you car doors.

Try Harlequin Romances. See Billionaire, Millionare, Tycoon. Cattle Baron...

message 6876: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane There's also always biographies of millionaires.

Sara | 1294 comments A few other books I found which have millionaires:

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald Portraits of a Marriage by Sándor Márai Henderson the Rain King by Saul Bellow

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire :) If you like cheesy vampire books.

message 6879: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments Hehe. I just posted a new challenge last night. The beginnings and endings still make me laugh. I kind of want to pull something like that into RPG too.

message 6880: by Alyssa (new)

Yep, unfortunately ;-) Mr Grey is #8 on the Top 15 Richest Fictional Characters.

message 6882: by Megs (new)

Megs (meganlikesbooks) | 376 comments I'm going to reread to Artemis Fowl series. It specifically says he's a millionaire in the blurb of the first book. If you are less interested in romance.

I figure as long as they are at least millionaires it would count. (Though that's just me, obviously, and not a mod). Character in a book I slotted there had bail set at 1 million and paid it as soon as they'd let him. Just right out of his account like it was a toll on the highway. So I was like....yeah he's at LEAST a millionaire if one million didn't make him blink an eye. lol.

message 6884: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (ladykatala) | 5020 comments More than a millionaire is fine. :)
