If you have a drop bear steak from another source you can use that, however it has to be the cooked version and not the meat drop.

Is there any other source for the steaks? You have to finish the drop bear steak quest to get the recipe. I guess you can buy one on the open market?

Anyway, the (one, two, three weeks) time restrictions do not count for the new monsters so we can kill them as fast as they emerge, right?

Per the earlier question/answer, does that mean the monsters re-set on Sundays? So if I battle my 1st today, I can battle the 2nd one on Sunday? Or wait until next Wednesday so 1 week has passed?

So I've battled all 5 elementals 25/5/16

Per rules the twins do not double the items that are turned in (i.e. the essences). So they double the rest of the items dropped by the elementals. ;-) I'm sure going to hire Amile and Ester for my elemental battles.

It quadruples if you use the Twins and Hat Hat. For example, 1 rat tail x 2 x 2 = 4 rat tails.

Oh sorry, I should be more specific (I am nowhere close to having a Hat Hat!) so drops means the reward you get from killing the monster?

So if you get 10 experience, you'd get 20 when it doubles the drop?

The drops are the rat tails, bat wings, goblin bones, drop bear meat, or even gold for the lemur. Pretty much everything except for the Exp points!

Just to clarify again:

ALL quests in the Event revert to Sunday not just the attacks.

Just attacks. Quest parts depends on when you do them. You still need to wait week (minimum) between quests

For example, you've done Fire Bug today, you need to wait a week to do it again

BUT, if a quest drops additional items, like a potion token, those CAN be duplicated?

Basically, if I hire the twins, then complete a few of these event quests, will I get 2 tokens/pelts/gold etc?

Twins are just for drops from monsters.
You can view their description on the mercenary page.

It's a judgement call and probably varies from book to book based on the character. Some books have military type guys jumping from airplanes and making it look easy so that wouldn't count but if you had a housewife to suddenly had to jump from an airplane then it could count.

You can use your own judgement on whether it's something hard for the character and context that it's within.

It's titled "And From Words Bring Forth Life"; gives a Manifestation of Life. :)
