One time ever. I'll update it to clarify. It's like the special weapons that have been released before.

It should be a bit closer on the hands. Or at least focused on the hands like this one.

Twilight (Twilight, #1) by Stephenie Meyer

Reva (revans) | 2481 comments 1) Read a scientific book.

Can it be Science fiction? or does it have to be like Hawking's

A Brief History of Time or
Cosmos by Carl Sagan

message 6761: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane Oh okay. I guess I don't know what other special weapons you're referring to then

message 6762: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Lane I'm pretty sure it needs to be non-fiction science. I think the 50 years in the future would be the slot where you'd put the science fiction book.

You can dip into science fiction but it should be more on the real science side. Like Zoo or Martian type science fiction rather than Aliens and Teleporters.

Weapons Quests

Spock and Death's quest give 1 use weapons as well.

Jurassic Park --gene manipulation?

Glad I could help.

Welcome to Amy and Natalie and all other newcomers! Have fun!

Love the June update, Kellly! The arrow looks really good (and challenging).

Kelly, I have a question, about the white gem -
allows you to purify your hero once each calendar month. Purifying your hero will remove any lasting effects from monsters (e.g. disease)
Does it heal only the disease caused by the Plague Bringer OR does it negate the ill effects of battling the Correction Fluid, too? I hope it does both but I'd like to be sure.

LaLine | 411 comments The Greater Heal Potion listed under the 5,000 Leagues Under the Sea quest - is that the same as a Major Heal Potion? I am making that assumption but thought I'd double check here first.

Zuzana | 2570 comments Yes, LaLine. Somebody asked before and Kelly confirmed it.

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments For the mineral quest, does the word have to be pronounced like the mineral or is it enough that it is spelled the same?

I am thinking of reading Lead Me Into Darkness: Five Halloween Tales of Paranormal Romance using it for Lead (Pb)

nevermind - I used a different book :)

Teresa (teresab78) | 1658 comments Thank you all! I even did the swarm with out the area of effect blanket, though I will need it before I can tackle the Queens. I am far off from the big baddies! I could have done the Thesaurus as well if I had had the unusual word books, but, alas, I only just got two of them that count and I need a third. Although I might have enough gold to buy another... but right now I have the twins, not ysmay in effect. Ysmay is a life saver!!!!!

Shanna_redwind | 598 comments So for the quest with someone who likes to shop, would a character who is an antique picker- (A person who goes to farms and estates and buys stuff and then sells it at auction) count as a person who loves to shop?

Here's a quote from the description:
"Before long she's addicted to the hunt, spending her Friday nights with the classified ads and a street map, outlining her weekend plan of attack. Jane knows that finding the real treasures is all about being in the right place at the right time."

Sorry, been deep in wobble land. It's going to be an intense summer.

I checked the wording of the task and what you describe sounds fine.
