A knight could really clean up in a tavern such as this. Not another male to be seen for miles it seems.

Haha, awesome !

Regardless if I am the only male here (or in the entire group?) I do love this challenge, just wish I could read more books. Any chance the game could become an ongoing thing with no character reset?
Alex wrote: "How is it that I am the only male around these parts? Does the dragon only eat men?"Steven should also stop by at one point. I'm sure he's fighting monsters and can't come now.
Alex wrote: "How is it that I am the only male around these parts? Does the dragon only eat men?"Watch out they'll chew you up. :P
I am a brave knight, I might not be the first to do so but I will slay a dragon!*sits down, orders a beer*
I hope it's a good hardy stout beer! I'll help you slay the dragon. Series reads, here we come! Why am I picturing Monty python right now? :P
RachelvlehcaR wrote: "Why am I picturing Monty python right now? :P "Oh, noooo!
Kelly, looks like we'll need coconuts!
RachelvlehcaR wrote: "Lol, had to da it. ;)"I really hate you right now! I'm going to sing Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life whole night! :P

I love that song. I sign it when I am ticked off and it snaps ne out of it.I could say.... Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand..
Worst part is I can't whistle! What about And it's no, nay, never! No nay never no more will I play the wild rover...
When I spontaneously sign the song my whole family is stuck with it lol Besides it's a perfect song for in a tavern :)

My plan was to do a character reset at the end of the year. We can see how things look then and decide what to do then.I was going to do different lore next year too but we're awhile away still so it's still in the pondering section of my mind.

Clicking the above was my first time hearing The Wild Rover and it is stuck in my head. It has my vote!

Sadly medieval coconut bra and renaissance coconut bra come up with nothing. Google has failed me :(
Or you can go the prepackaged route.

Maybe we'll have a horse quest.... hmmm...
Why I have a feeling that at one point there'll be 'hunt Tea for giving Kelly crazy quest ideas' quest? :p

...no never, no more!
And it's firmly lodged in there.
While you are here drinking and singing, some of us has monsters to battle. *yawns*
Time for my
Barliman, my drinks on tab!
See ya guys tomorrow! Same place, same time.
Wow! It's pretty quiet here!I leave tavern and everyone else leaves too?! Does that mean I'm your leader? Or just main troublemaker here? :P
I'm loving this challenge. So much fun. I just hope this will be an ongoing challenge. With around 120-150 books read a year and an average 1-2 EXP for a book (not to mention all the books needed for leveling up your weapons) I don't have a snowball's chance in hell to take on the dragons by the end of this year.
^ I agree! I probably won't be able to finish that dragon this year either so I really hope it keeps going without a character reset. Maybe next year, you could just think of it like an expac for World of Warcraft :P New quests/lore/experiences, but you keep what you've earned up to that point so you can reach another new "end game" thing to conquer.
I could probably float expansion type things for next year. I'll probably start pondering it around October this year. I want to see what the top people make it up to so we don't end up with too big of a spread.
A couple of questions regarding the new quests, Kelly.Re A Toy for Hadley quest, are plurals (stars, hearts, circles, ...) in the title allowed, e.g. The Fault in Our Stars? If so do I need to spell out STARS or is STAR enough?
Re Big Heart Monster, I'm not strong enough to fight it yet, but do I understand it correctly that it's going to appear again around Mother's Day and Father's Day? Any other times?
I noticed that in some of the February quests (e.g. Gift of Love or Alchemy) you can't claim EXP points for each of the books but only once all of the books are read. Is that correct?
I think I calculated probably about 400-500 books for the dragon, but that depends a lot on what quests are made which I don't know yet.
Kelly wrote: "I think I calculated probably about 400-500 books for the dragon, but that depends a lot on what quests are made which I don't know yet."Oh my! I'd just be more than happy to kill a dragon and I mean any of the lesser ones. The Novel Dragon is forever out of my reach. ;-)
Cait wrote: "Five years from now, that dragon will feel my wrath!! *shakes fist*"Ha. If it makes you feel better Tea and I are dreaming up extra rewards that enhance your character a lot but they'll be tricky quests. One should be coming in the March update.

Star is ok.
I think the Big Heart Monster will just stick around until he's killed by each person. Right now I don't feel any strong need to take down uncommon or rare monsters since they're limited.
And yes, some of the quests you can claim xp as you go, some require it to be completed before you do.
Cait wrote: "Five years from now, that dragon will feel my wrath!! *shakes fist*"LOL! My thoughts exactly.
lol I am honestly cool with however long it takes, I've got no problem working the same challenge for a couple years. I love the quests. Hunting down books to fill in tasks is super fun for me. Bring on the hard quests! I'm ready :P Killing dragons aside, my real goal is to take up that "no one will finish every quest" challenge ;)
