Can't I have some privilege here?"
You already get to see the quests early :P
Kelly wrote: "You already get to see the quests early :P "Hey, some of them are my ideas! ok, not yet, but they will be. I deserve something for my sacrifice :P
Okay, for heal words to spell out, may I use any of these? It gives me lots of options. :PEpithelialization - the process of epithelial cell formation and migration from the wound edges ( including hair follicles) that close over the wound
Hyperkeratosis - The thickening of the skin such as callus formation
Lipodermatosclerosis - A thickening in the tissues of the lower legs which feels hard and woody
Vasoconstriction - Constriction or narrowing of the blood vessels
anti-inflammatory - controlling inflammation, a reaction to injury or infection

Aren't most of those bad things? Not sure forming callus's counts as healing.
Let's go with stuff that makes you go from sick to healthy :P but you can use interesting words still.
Eih, I'm not going to fight you on semantics of the healing words. It's 1 hp per letter for everyone so it's not like there's going to be big differences in people's quests over it.BTW for others http://www.dmmedical.net/woundcareter...
Kelly wrote: "Hmm. I'll ponder it :P There are some awesome rewards for defeating the colored dragons. And they'll be some more items of power that will be able to be acquired in the coming months. "Items of power? Sounds good.
Yup. Tea and I are busy planning. Though there's already some examples of such for the colored dragons already up.
So, can you battle a goblin, sewer rat AND brown bat all within one week without penalty? Or when you say they all scurry away, does that mean you can attack one and then you have to sacrifice a book to attack another?
Katie wrote: "So, can you battle a goblin, sewer rat AND brown bat all within one week without penalty? You can battle a goblin, sewer rat and brown bat all within one week without any penalty. You need to bribe them with a book only if you want to fight the exact same species again before the week is out.
For the date night quest, does the book HAVE to be in the book or is in the title acceptable? For example, I have For Valentine's in my bag for later. Is that acceptable or do I need to find the word in the book? Thanks!
I'm walking in to the tavern, slightly late to the party. Have been busy battling the pox back at the castle (the kids have got chicken pox) so the quest has had to wait for a little while...I know we have to finish one healing word before battling the next, but do we also need to finish the whole word before we get back to the quest?
Zuzana wrote: "Katie wrote: "So, can you battle a goblin, sewer rat AND brown bat all within one week without penalty? Or when you say they all scurry away, does that mean you can attack one and then you have to..."Yup. Each on separate timers. Also note, if you kill the goblin on monday and the bat on tuesday, the goblin will be back the following monday and the bat the following tuesday.

No, you may stop in the middle of a word and do other things, just can't start a new word.

Katie wrote: "Thanks Zuzana! I didn't know there was an old thread. Sorry for a repeat question"Don't worry. ☺ Old thread became little confusing so we moved here. Feel free to ask whatever you want.
I'm sure I'm gonna repeat question or two just so Kelly has something to do (instead of thinking of new quests) :P

I need to finish my other February challenges before I think up new quests too. Eek. So much to do.

I have too much pride as a gentleman to be arrested for indecent exposure.....there has to be a better spot that is not beside the front door!

I'm trying to figure out how much damage the wand and sword inflict with each leveling up.So if we start with each inflicting 3 HP damage but each leveling up would increase the HP damage by 2, so level 2 would be 5 HP, and level 3 would be 7 HP?
Some clarification would be helpful. Thanks.

Heh, we did an asian cruise when I was in college and we got somewhere and they had these nice tiled bathrooms that were holes in the floor. I thought it was a great contrast since they put a lot of effort into it.

You start off with level 0 weapons. So they're 2 damage each.
You add 2 attack to the level of your weapon to get the damage.
So a level 1 staff is 3 attack, level 2 is 4 attack, level 3 is 5 attack.
Also note that some of the higher level monsters are susceptible to weapons and it increases their attack against those monsters or they're resistant and it decreases attack. That's noted in the monsters description.

Thank you for the clarification. :D *goes makes changes*
'Ello all ye ladies and gents! This adventure does excite me muchly. I believe I shall partake in a good ale before galavanting off on my next quest. I should warn ye all - the sewer rats do bite!(I don't know how I missed this challenge at the beginning of the year, but it makes me so happy!)
Oh, new victim!*sits next to Dani and orders new round of drinks signaling bartender to put them on Dani's tab*
So I hear you've met few of our rats. They are vicious and like to bite, I agree.
*nods and sips her beer*
Just wait until you stumble into one of those bats. It'll take you daaaays to get those wings untangled from your hair! Trust me it's not worth all the trouble.
*hides grin behind her tankard*
Thanks Kelly!*muses and sips on beer*
Those bats sound horrible! My hair gets tangled enough as is. I may need a longer staff so that I may attack them from a greater distance.
*glances over to Alex*
Is that so? Perhaps she's in league with those bats. It certainly seems as if she wants me to steer clear of them.
*sigh*
Now look what you did.
People always want you to be truthful, but when you speak the truth they hate you for it.Tea is a tough cookie, she will get over it.
Yep, don't worry. I'll live.*slips note to Kelly how Alex needs his own quest*
I don't think I'm in cahoots with bats. I'm still recovering from my last encounter with them. It was huge with sharp teeth and claws. *shivers* And I think he really liked taste of my blood. I just hope he didn't manage to communicate with his family before I got him.
*sighs and finishes her beer in one gulp*
