I'd probably get too jealous/frustrated that I couldn't see the ghoulies :)

Sorry, but those shoes aren't big enough or detailed enough to qualify.
I'll make this an official announcement. The surprise bonus points have nothing to do with how many different tasks are completed. That could give an unfair advantage to teams that have more high volume readers. I assume you'll want to be sure the tasks that earn bonus points are completed, but other than that, let everyone read what they want.
I have plenty of books on my to read list that would fit the couples e.g. crime, nonfiction, romance, chick lit , dystopiain

Lol! :)
Before I gopher though, is the plan to fill up on the bonus tasks first? I see those slots filling up and I'm wondering if our plan is to fill those all first and then move on to the other categories? Since I'm probably good for 1-2 books I want to make sure mine helps where it's needed most.

After that, we can read whatever we want as it won't matter anymore as every book completed will get 10 points :)
Ok, now I got it. For some reason, I thought we just needed to complete it one time but I'm seeing now that would be waaay to easy. Thanks, Lisa. Now I can gopher with purpose! ;)
We do only have to complete the bonus tasks once as a team Tasha. At the moment our spreadsheet is just listing all the bonus tasks we think we might be able to cover. Once everyone has checked in, we will assign them and then we can read whatever we want after that. Most books will probably fit more than one task anyway. It is quite an easy toppler this time ;)
If anyone has a south american read handy, that would be useful. I have one but it's dense and will probably take me all week.
I have Of Love and Other Demons which is set in Colombia but it's 15 pages too short! It only has 160 pages and the minimum for the toppler is 175 pages. Damn!
I thought I had a SA book but it turns out it's in latin America too. This is always a tough one for me to find.
I can read
for Africa. If non-fic is fine, which I'm thinking it is, I can read
which is located in Brazil. I'll read this one if no one else wants the spot, otherwise I'm happy to give it up as the book is not on my tbr.
Rusalka wrote: "*&^% %$#(^% @!*&It's bloody Central America/Caribbean."
Hate when that happens! I'm currently reading Caribbean which is 800+ pages of teeny tiny print.
I have found a mystery set in South America, The Ambivalent Corpse. It's 177 pages long and available from Kindle for $2.99. If no one finds a South America book they actually want to read, I could read this one.
I've been away from the computer all weekend and I'm swamped at work today.I saw the tasks Friday, but I haven't yet seen what the rules of the game are. I'll try to find time to read through everything at some point today and get the spreadsheet started. It may be tomorrow before I have time to get up-to-date.
Good news, KimeyDiann. Rusalka already DID a spreadsheet, and it's wonderful. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...I think you need to get permission to edit.

Wine or a Cuba Libre, please!
She's serving wine because she's saving the port for herself, or as a consolation prize after the Toppler :)

Thanks for the wine Lisa, most refreshing!

Awesome! I did not slow down once all day yesterday so I never got to check back in. Thanks for doing the spreadsheet Rusalka! It looks great!
I'll work on gophering as I have time today. It looks like you all have the first three categories covered already. I'll check and see if I have anything craft related in case Casceil can't read her selection. I can commit to two books for sure, one audio and one text. If time permits I might can fit a third book in but I'm not going to promise that.
Rus -You've got me down for set in Canada, but
- set in Argentina! We have another for South America!
Left Drowning would work for Hazel Grace & Augustus (tear jerker) or
Samson & Delilah (romance).
The Handmaid's Tale for
Gene & Majel (Sci-fi)
Katniss & Peeta (Dystopian)
Rick & Ilsa (Classic)
Kiss of the Night
Samson & Delilah (romance)
Johnny Depp & Debra (sexy)
Buffy & Angel (vamps)
Brokeback Mtn. (forbidden love)
Almeta & Kermit (human and 'other' interaction)
The Way
Eyes
Buffy & Angel (vamps)
Brokeback Mtn. (forbidden love)
Gene & Majel (Sci-fi)
Katniss & Peeta (Dystopian)
June & Ward (post-apocalyptic)
Romea & Juliet (ya)
Shrek & Fiona (royal character)
There are SO MANY more I can list but my brain just isn't functioning that well this afternoon. LOL.
I'm pretty sure I can find a book for any of these categories listed. If someone can't do one of the look categories, I probably have a book that would work and can do it.
No worries. Will fix. My internet has been shaped at home (lovely 3rd world internet system we have in Australia) so things have been lagging and not loading. Including webpages. So there may be some issues with the spreadsheet not loading properly while i'm working on it.
OR of course, it's just may be and probably is user error.
