I'll finish The Quiet Game in the wee hours of Friday night or Saturday morning. It's fast reading despite being over 550 pages. We are smokin'!
Divas -
well now the question is can i get another book in, and if i can what should it be. Am going to go for The Virgin Suicides this is shelved as young adult so could be added to romeo and juliet
Awesome work ladies! I'll finish The Handmaid's Tale either tonight or in the morning. I'll try to logon to the app tomorrow or Sunday sometime and update if I finished on time or not. Happy Valentine's Day! :

Let me know how you find it. I liked the movie, and loved the soundtrack.
Janice wrote: "Woohoo. I made it home, and I finished my audiobook. Off to the reporting thread."Glad you got home okay!
I finished A Tale Dark & Grimm. Now I think I'll read something for fun and see how it fits. I think I can finish another book by noon tomorrow...
Alrighty, Divas- I finished book number 4. Pheeew! Thank goodness for my husband working evening hours this week, so I've had plenty of time for reading. But that's all she wrote for me! Going to enjoy the rest of the evening tonight without a book in my hands.I think we have rocked this Toppler! Way to go, all!
I've finished my sixth and last book. I'm on Mountain time, so the toppler ends at ten a.m. for me, and I doubt I could finish another book that fast. It's been a great toppler, and I have the BEST team.

I'm on my phone, so I can't look at the spreadsheet. Just curious- did we fill in all the categories?
We have Tasha finishing her Vamp book for Buffy and Angel, and then we have the post apocalyptic one to do. But that may be filled if people think I'm being too hardline fangirl and strict on definitions of apocalypse.
I have half a notion to find a short, post-apocalyptic book and just knock it out tonight. But I'll refrain- and instead, feel uneasy. Damn, OCD tendencies!

I started reading a post-apocalyptic horror book this week: Red Equinox. It takes place in Boston after the oceans have risen. I'll see if I can finish it in the morning.
I have finished my fourth and final book, Glimpse. The first half was pretty good, the second not so much. I felt that the plot didn't really go anywhere after a while yet the climax itself was rushed and predictable. It all felt a bit empty and shallow for me by the end. However, there were some parts early on that were quite good and I liked how it was inspired by the poem 'The Highwayman'. I gave it 3 stars.
I finished Talulla Rising for Buffy! Not sure if I'll read the last one. I didn't enjoy this one as much as The Last Werewolf.
It is so nice seeing that spreadsheet almost completely filled up! We did such an amazing job! Rusalka, thanks so much for keeping that together. :)

Finished Hide and Seek. It's 2am, and the only casualty was a $50 crystal wine glass. No worries on the sheet. I'll update it when I wake up, possibly in 10 hours or so. Eyes not working. Yay toppler and team. wooortts
I finished my final read as well - book 6. Fever for sexy. My book (The Last Town) for nasty occupation could be slated into post-apolyptic if one of the duplicates could fit nasty occupation. Any ideas out there?
You could put Strange Magic under nasty occupation. The lead character is a wanderer, gambler, and occasional fixer (using magic against demons and such). He essentially has no job and plays piano at bars in exchange for food etc. He also lives in his car--a souped up Camino with a camper topper.

Using just the books we read for the body, here's whar out date looks like. Can someone scour our other read books for possi lories? I'm on my cellphone and this is
Majorly tedious.
Tasha wrote: "what happened to the wine glass?!"I knocked it with my book and there wasn't enough wine in it to keep it upright, nor enough reflexes at 1am to catch it. Smash :(
Jmom's post is a bit confusing before coffee. So we only can use our body parts section? Or is she saying we can use any of our reads?
I've looked back through this thread for covers that have been posted. In addition to the pictures in 538 and 541, here are more possibles.
I believe "Under the Skin" also had a female head, but I did not make a not of the author's name, and there are pages of books with that title.
So, I went back in the reporting thread and edited my book reports to be covers. Here are some I read that could fit body parts:Face:
Torso:
I understood her to mean that we could use any covers fro books we've read that have head, eyes, etc. I'm thinking we have to have all parts to make our Frankenstein-like perfect date.
I think you're right, Janice. My set above failed to include eyes. Do we have any possibles besides Agnes and the Hitman?
Sorry, been a bit busy today. None of mine have body parts either. I'm very happy with what you guys decide. I have a few doctors appointments and work tomorrow, so go for it.Spreadsheet wise, just waiting on an update on Anne and Kimmey's last books. Otherwise all is totalled.
None of the books I read had body parts either. I'm also fine with whatever combo you all decide. :)

I'm definitely sticking with it. I'm finding that listening to the audio (read by Clare Danes) is actually easier to follow. Despite some of the random thought patterns in the writing, I am really enjoying (like you said, not the correct word) this book. I'm hoping I can finish it tomorrow morning so it will count for the toppler. And I think it will count for the open post-apocalypse category.
