Not one Goodreads email notification - and my email is once again unverified. Now re-verified...sigh...this seems to happen about once every couple of years.

I’ve just started noticing that on the book page my friends reviews aren’t showing up in the ‘friends and following’ section but when I scrolled down through the community review there are some friends reviews in there! Very annoying because I like to read friends reviews particularly after I finish a book.

Is anyone else getting a big yellow bar at the top of their Goodreads pages? I'm using Safari, so it could just be my browser.

It really does! I just updated my operating system, but it hasn't made any difference so far.

Update on my big bar - it's now pink...sigh...I've put in a complaint with the 'contact us' button in help. Ironically, the help page is the only page without a big pink bar at the top.They emailed me and asked for screenshots, so they were sent last Thursday. Silence since.
And today.....I've had to verify my email address again! But this time it's been two and a half weeks, not two...aaaaarrrrrghhhhhh!
Mind you, because of the big pink bar, I had to use the app to verify my email address because the bar obscures all the bits I need to sort the email.
I have no idea how to go to a previous page in a discussion on the app. So I’ve turned off notifications as it’s basically useless to tell me I’ve got them when I don’t even know what the discussion is about. Maybe not a bug, but irritating.
Just found the arrow. But it’s really not obvious how to look at things in the app. Better on the website, but I’m often on my phone.
For some reason the search bar isn’t working for me. Whenever I type in the name of a book to look up, I get a message saying the page I’m looking for doesn’t exist. Aaarrrgggg

Aaarrrgggg"Goodreads isn’t searching books correctly in the last hour or so - I was trying to look up some books & got endless error messages, then it crashed.
It’s still doing it exactly as you described, Icewineanne. Perhaps I imagined reading all my books as Goodreads can’t find them now! (I’m using the website not the app.)

I think it’s working again - I just managed to access & update one of my books.
Not a bug, but a question - I thought this might be the best forum to find a techy-minded GR user!Does anyone know how to set up a weblink so that it takes you to the last active page of a thread (eg. if I wanted a shortcut to this page of the Editing Bugs discussion, rather than page 1)? Grateful for any assistance.

It’s still flaky and keeps asking me to sign in before dropping out again! Ugh!!
For the first half hour after it reappeared, I got no posts from friends but saw many posts from users I didn’t know from a bar of soap! Very strange. INSERT SMILEY FACE.CB

Also, when I post a Please Combine (or similar) request in the Librarions group, as soon as I've posted it, the page moves to one of their cutsie unfound page messages. The last couple of times, at least it says at the top that my topic WAS posted. Last week they weren't even posting. Also just a nuisance.
