Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Yesterday I saw AH had liked review of 2014 on Goodreads. The review was a list of the GRer's best of in 2014. You know me and lists! I couldn't pass up an opportunity to share my 2014 recap.

Then, I thought it'd be fun to keep track of each year in one spot - hence this thread. For now, I'm starting with my shared review of '2014 on Goodreads', but I might look back to 2013 and see which books stick out.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Fun! Lists! I love lists ... and books! At the beginning of a year, I love to look back at the books that grabbed my interest in the previous year. Thanks to the creator of this book page for offering a way to share my flashback with my GR buddies.

I'm a very soft rater. It doesn't take a lot to make me happy. If I had a good time escaping into your book, chances are your book got 3-4 stars. If I loved my trip and want to revisit the world again and again - 5 stars. If I read it, but miss the time it took me to do so, well, that'll get ya 1-2 stars.

As a serious series addict, most of my lists revolve around - surprise - series!
Now, on to the lists! (books in no particular order)

J.M. Madden's Lost and Found [Military RS]
Embattled Home (Lost and Found, #3) by J.M. Madden Embattled Christmas A Lost and Found Series Novella by J.M. Madden
Emma Chase's Tangled series, which I finished in 2014 [Humorous ER]

The Saint (The Original Sinners White Years #1) by Tiffany Reisz The King (The Original Sinners White Years, #2) by Tiffany Reisz
Cherise Sinclair's Masters of the Shadowlands series better go on forever b/c I cannot imagine a world without these hot Doms and their sassy subs [ER]
Show Me, Baby 1001 Dark Nights (Masters of the Shadowlands, #9) by Cherise Sinclair
Nalini Singh's Rock Kiss series started off a little bumpy for me, but this novella reminded me why I shouldn't snub anything written by her [NA-CR]
Rock Courtship (Rock Kiss, #1.5) by Nalini Singh
Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries series can sometimes be a frustrating read for me. I love her Doms and their missions, but I enjoy her Doms and their subs more. Sometimes the big baddies' story encroaches a bit too much on my D/s time [ER/RS]
Unconditional (Masters and Mercenaries, #5.5) by Lexi Blake Dungeon Royale (Masters and Mercenaries, #6) by Lexi Blake

Well, if ya stuck with me this far, thanks for celebrating my favorite reads of 2014! If not, who can blame ya, I ramble. :D

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments I love it! Great lists, ladies!

Lee, do you tend to read a whole series before moving on to another? I am all over the place with my series. I have so many going at once yet I can't help starting new ones. It's my thang. :D

Val, which freebie goes with your "god, it was good" comment? I've read (and love) Harper's Fallen Siren series, but are you referring to Boughton's books?

"I blame Sandra for this!" LOL! No doubt!

While both are very good (and I've yet to read the second book in the Fallen Siren series) I was referring Boughton's books. The heroine is very hard to love and impossible to hate. A perfect blend of Walking Dead and Beast from the Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter. Werewolves and zombies...what's not to love?

If I can get hold of all the books to read in
order then yes I will read the lot, any that
are due out later I will wait for them to be
published and read as released in between
reading other books.I know what you mean
about keeping up with serials there are loads
coming up this year that I am in the middle of

This Morganville series took forever to find
with huge gaps in between some of the books
I always promised myself that I would read
the lot in one go, so I made it a mission to
find them all buy them and read it from start
to finish. Believe it or not the first book
Glass Houses remained elusive for a long time
and was the hardest one to find, but I did it
made do with a very early second hand copy.
But below is my series even better to read
then the first time

.
