Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments Sorry for all the posts. Can’t edit them on the phone. But I just found one for August as well. Starting the July book but can switch if needed. It’s just the one dye the earliest.

message 353: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments Crap. The July book was first published June 30. So starting the August book. I can switch to June or find one from July if needed tomorrow

message 354: by Michaele (new)

Michaele | 6545 comments OK, so Mary has August (I think:) ). And Nayara has September. Shan-A are you cool with July? Or would you prefer June? I haven't started yet, so I can easily do either.

message 355: by Shan ~A~ (new)

Shan ~A~ | 1830 comments I have a book I'm currently listening to that was published in June 2016 and one that I'm planning to read that was published in October 2020

Since the year doesn't matter I can do either of those two.

message 356: by Mary X (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments The books have to consecutive months in the same year unless we start with October, November or December and cross into the next year.

message 357: by Mary X (last edited Oct 23, 2020 06:08AM) (new)

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 1103 comments If Michaele does July, I do August, Nayara does September and Shan can do October all from 2020 then we are good.

This is a delightful book. I couldn't stop laughing and I fell in love even more with Rain and Danny. Their relationship was adorable and was so amazing to read they evolving and growing together. Bonus points for the side characters (their family, their crew) who made the story so much more fun and interesting. It was perfect and one of my favorites books of the year.

Review: I love Birdie Maxwell. Did I love Sadie and Sebastian? Yes, but Birdie stole the show.

This book had all the feels. I laughed and even cried a bit throughout. It was so heartwarming and pulled at my emotions like crazy.

I had barely started the book and knew I was in love from Birdie's first letter.

There were a lot of parallels between Sadie's life growing up and Sebastian and Birdie's lives now. That is most likely why this touched my heart so much. They had all been through a lot before finding one another.

MountainKat | 31599 comments Sorry for the delay, but you couldn't get a task until today anyway - so only an hour or two later than usual.

Here is Task 17:

93. As a team, pick a Romance List from GR Listopia with less than 100 books on it, each teammate reads a book from that list. No pass for this task.

This task requires a romance list, therefore romance books. Select a list from GR Listopia with fewer than 100 books on it. Each of you reads a book from that list. Please include a link to the list and the number of the selected book in your completion post.

Do you know the kind of book that you think you should have like it more? After all, all the hype can't be wrong. And if you don't like it more it's probably a you problem, not a book problem. Yep, this is how I'm felling now. Everyone kept telling me that, yes, the pace is slower in the beginning... but don't worry, things are going to get better. But they don't... they just get gross. The fact that I wanted to murder all the characters (protagonist included) myself probably didn't help either. But, again, it's a me problem.

Review: I swear there were times when I was worried for Jess' sanity. That girl was nothing but a big ball of stress. I was so glad to see her finally get to into something that she really seems to love. Everyone doesn't know what they want to do with there lives right away. I'm just glad that she had an awesome support system.

I am totally in love with Blake. He came across as a goofball who shouldn't be taken seriously (accept in the bedroom), but one you start peeling back all those layers you get to the goodness inside (like his favorite fruit on Jess' PJs).

After getting his story, it was understandable why he didn't trust, but he didn't stand a chance against Jess and she didn't stand a chance against him.

Neither was looking for anything serious, but you just can't help who you fall in love with.

Now I have to go back and read Wes and Jamie's story.
