Hi Kat - could you please advise on my book selection in Team 3?105. Each teammate lists two favorite authors. Select books written by the authors on two different teammate's list and read books by those authors. (Two books each per teammate.)
So each of you provides a list of two favorite authors. Then you each select an author from two different teammates' lists read books by both authors. Make sure you select from different teammates for each book selected! Include the teammate selected in your completion posts.
I thought I had to read a book by one of the authors selected by my teammates.
I picked I Buried a Witch to read as one of Michaelle's fav authors. But she hasn't read it. (Lisa has.)
So it doesn't count?

Yes, you only have to select a book written by a favorite author. It doesn't matter if it has been read by anyone on your team.
I finally updated the tracking posts at the beginning of this thread and each team thread!! I will do my best to keep that up to date. 🤞🏼

Hi Kat - To select our books from the Monthly Challenge, we have chosen to go with :9. October 31st is Halloween.
🎃Read a book with a holiday theme, bonus points if it's Halloween. You can also read a book in the following genres: mystery, thriller, or suspense. You can also read a book with a costumed person in the cover.
For the holiday portion - if it is tagged/shelved by readers as 'holidays', will that work? or does it need to be in the precis or on a list?
Thanks :)
Also - I have a book that has TWO Kindle editions published on the first publication date by the same publisher, both with different page numbers! One is over 150pp and one under 150pp.Can I use the one that is over 150pp? 🙏
(The ebook edition in English are over the 150pp.)

Yes, if it is the same (earliest) publication date, you can use either edition.
I think I'll go into withdrawals when this challenge is over...anybody else know of another group with team challenges that will start after this one?

Thanks, Kat! That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure.
Can a team get the same task twice? Team 2-Chase the Rainbow just did and I just want to make sure that wasn’t a mistake (:

Sorry everyone, out internet went down last night - in the middle of streaming a movie of course. So I didn't check things last night and just now remembered I didn't - so I get moving on things now. 😊
Here is Task 22:101. Read 8 books published in even months and even years.
Us the initial publication date for this task. You need to select books books published in even months and even years. For example, books published in February 2020 or October 2018 would work, but a book published in June 2019 or July 2020 would not work.
Just checking its the initial kindle date or the first publication date regardless of format.
