Is it different from what is shown here on GR? 4 OHC of the ultimate collection (collection not universe) and one omni?

Sorry, I finally realized what you were asking. Looks like there are two sets of collections. The "Ultimate" collection is 4 volumes. The one I have is 3 volumes. Comparing the issues included it looks like they have the same material, but I'm not sure if the Ultimate ones are oversized or not. I also have not been able to confirm that the Ultimate ones are available in hardcover.

I went ahead and finished the sets for the Goon (vol 5) and the Hellboy (ordered 3 and 5) Library Editions with my last couple IST orders. I read the Hellboy volumes I already have so those will be a little out of order when I read them.
IST is sold out of the first Hickman Avengers omnibus. They confirmed they do not have any information indicating more are/will be available. It sounds like the book is headed out of print if it is on your wish list. I bought all the OHCs and didn't pick up the omnibus for myself though I bought a copy as a Christmas gift for a friend.
It will be interesting to see if Marvel does a reprint as the second volume of Hickman's Avengers isn't even out yet. They haven't reprinted Hickman's vol 1 FF4 or Remender's Uncanny X-Force omnibus though it is in high demand. Folks have been clamoring for a Bendis DD omnibus reprint for years too.

I feel like Uncanny X-Force has a real shot at a reprint with the next X-Force movie coming out. The Hickman FF 1 is what I really need since I started collecting just as it went out of print but I am not too confident about a reprint any time soon for that.

That's a good point about the X-Force movie. Definitely count me in to buy the reprint. I never picked it up because I had all the single issues, but it is so much easier to reread in a nice hardcover.

Glad you loved Blacksad! :)
I'll likely order King's DLX vol 2 of Batman and the Perez Wonder Woman vol 3 since I have the first two.

I will probably get them on Friday.
I'm curious what peoples opinions are on dark metal, including"the road to". I'm sure I'll wait for the complete oversized collection though...

I loved that series when it came out.

Blind,
Ive been watching those too (I think I asked about it months ago as well) So far, based solely on this forum, the interest IST is showing on people buying them, and the close release dates, I'm guessing there will be an Omni . . . and I'm waiting for it. Hope I'm right.
Even when the single issues were coming out, many people I spoke with and reviews read, indicate that if you can just accept it for what it is, it's apparently a very very fun read with crazy art. I get the feeling its a story that when being written the authors said, "Who cares about anything, let's just write a crazy fantastical story that can simply go off the rails! Maybe even something like a teenager writing fan fiction"

Silver Surfer.
Years ago I had a brand new Silver Surfer omnibus in my hand selling for around cover price. I was so spoiled paying less than cover price that I didn't pick it up. Needless to say I regret that decision.

I will get Metal cause i have new 52 run of capullo snyder as reguler HCs and i have all star Batman of Snyder as regular hcs, i have road to metal as regular hc as well, i thought dark nights: Metal would a regular HC cause they publish all of Snyder works as regular HC so i would have this complete snyder Batman regular HC collection but it turns out Dark Nights: Metal is a deluxe.... well, so be it. It will be taller than the rest on the shelf but i can live with that i guess.
I haven't read the Silver Surfer omnibus so that makes it a bit hard to tell someone it is the best. I have read material from X-Men (by Lee vs Claremont?), Hickman FF, Uncanny X-Force, and Wolverine by Claremont (it's in or above the $250 range).
I would likely lean towards recommending either Hickman's FF or Claremont's Wolverine if we didn't get to discussing how great Brubaker's Cap was and how they should probably get that. :)
I actually need to do a list of the whales I need to find - which would start with these:
Usagi Saga HC vol 1 from Dark Horse (I have the 8 other signed HC books but missing vol 1)
Siegfried by Alex Alice vol 1 (I have the other two volumes)
X-Men Inferno OHC
Absolute Top Ten
Bloodshot DLX vol 1
Civil War Spider Man OHC (only one I am missing that I want - all the Avengers content is in the New Avengers OHCs I have)
Want but a bit less than the above:
Silver Surfer omnibus
Kabuki vol 3 Library Edition
The Ring of Nibelung HC by P. Craig Russell
The Complete Essex County HC by Lemire
all the House of M OHC volumes

I just checked mine and they ordered "road to" but that's it.
Mine has a way to request books but I've yet to have one fulfilled. Maybe if I tried newer stuff.

The problem with the Captain America brubaker books is they are frustratingly thin and wish it would have been 3 books instead of 5. I still need the first 3 but I don’t expect picking them up anytime soon.
Ultimately being a huge X fan I think I’d like Captain Britain most and I keep hope for an Excalibur Omni because I’m dying to read that.
That said, Silver Surfer remains my #2.

On the othe hand, I managed to get a new copy of Absolute Top Ten at my local retailer, cover price. I felt lucky, as this thing was well hidden in the storeroom downstairs.
Lucky enough to grab colossal Conan and big damn son city at release. So pumped for the two more colossal Conans coming!!!!!
I ordered Absolute Top Ten on IST right towards the end the they e-mailed me and apologized because it was no longer in stock. :(
I picked up Colossal Conan on release as well. :) It's one of Busiek's best IMHO and the art looks great.
I added a few things in my above wanted list. :)

Disappointed no Absolute Sandman Overture. It was scheduled for today.
Wonder Woman Conan has me interested. Does anyone recommend?

Looks like the new IST release date for Sandman Overture will be 26 Jun 18.
I'm also curious about the Wonder Woman Conan book.
I read Samurai: Heaven and Earth TPB vol 1 last night. Very nice art and a well written story. It follows a Samurai whose wife is taken and then sold to a slaver trader who traffics her to Europe, all the way to France. He follows to try to rescue her.

Nothing better than opening up an IST order of a handful of books and pulling out one you forgot you ordered.

Getting good mail is always a nice feeling. :)
I'm closer to getting all the Ultimate Spider Man OHCs. It's been discussed a fair bit as being the best part of the Ultimate universe and top shelf Bendis work. I just need volumes 7, 9, and 10.

They did. Personally in situation like this I prefer having the matching OHCs rather than a vol 1 omnibus taking the place of the first few OHCs.
