Those shelves look great Nick. :)
As far as other things to consider adding - The Secret Invasion omnibus coming in the near future is worth consideration. I need to look at the extras but I do remember the main event, the Avengers and the Warbird tie-in issues were all well done. The fact they are printing this years and many intervening events later is evidence Marvel thinks the quality of this event holds up enough to publish this now.
Morrison's Batman omnibus volumes.
Some other material to think about picking up - Lazarus from Image (two DLX volumes currently out); Blacksad (the main OHC contains three stories and then there are two slimmer volumes each containing one story. The first book was the best); Parker - Martini edition (this is possibly THE best noir/crime comic book and if it isn't it's in the conversation for the top handful of the best in the genre. Art, coloring, writing are all very well done); and Lemire's Descender (one OHC out and a second will likely finish the series - you probably have this as I see several other Lemire books but I can't make out some of the volume titles).

I had been on the fence with Secret Invasion, but I did read New Avengers and thought it was pretty good so based on your recommendations I'll go for it.
As for Batman, I have basically no non-Kirby DC. I think for financial reasons, I am just going to keep staying completely out of the DCU for now, but if I change my mind ill remember a definite pickup.
Just looked at Blacksad, looks amazing. Lazarus has been on my probable list for a while. Lemire I love (I have A.D., Underwater Welder, Roughneck) but have more of his to get, Descender is on the list.
Finally... Parker. I see this selling between 40-160 on eBay without a ton of difference in their condition and someones selling one for 250 on Amazon. Are their different editions? Or just a quirk of who is selling?
Thanks again.
Hmmm, just looks at the content listing on Amazon for the Secret Invasion material. No Captain Marvel/Warbird issues included. It contains the prologue, main event, Avengers issues, and a couple issues from the Illuminati mini-series. I may already have all this material in oversize volumes. I'll have to check it out to avoid double dipping.
The parker Martini edition is the large Absolute size Parker volume in a slip case. That is the volume I have. There are standard size hardcovers. I want to say there are four standard size books and the Martini edition contains the material from the first two books. I'm still hoping there will be a second edition with the rest of the material. It sounds like those price differences are seller quirks.
As far as Batman (and DC) one has to prioritize. Nothing wrong with that. :)

Instead of the Gauntlet Omni, consider the new box set. The actual book size is standard, but the box on the shelf is the same size as an Omni and looks great. Also, it’s about the same price on IST as the Omni goes on the bay. I love my box set, great quality.
As for FF Hickman Omnis, I gave up a couple months ago. I’m convinced we will get a reprint one day, which will be good enough for me.

That could be really good. Johns run was really good and Morrison could certainly craft a great run too.

Pretty easy decision for me :P
June:
Runaways Omnibus
August:
Punisher Max Omnibus 2
Cheese:Hell on Earth 2 came out in the US in April. It’s missing page 153 (which I didn’t notice) so stopped printing and selling and getting a corrected version back for sale in August.
Wait, I’m just realizing Miles Morales is NOT a reprint of the Ultimate Spider-Man Omnibus. Is it post-secret wars Miles Morales? If so, I’m not interested. I thought it was a place to start with Ultimate Spider-Man but I think that’s wrong.
I had another big month, shelves need filling. In May I got (all OHC, Dlx or Omnibus)
Wolverine goes to Hell
Loki Journey into Mystery
Fables 14 (only one to go)
Ninjak #2
Wrath of the Eternal Warrior
Scalped #1
The Originals Essential Edition
Sixth Gun #2
Black Science Remastered #1
Deadly Class #1
My collection is slowly gearing towards Image stuff. Which is good ;-)
Nice pickups! How is that Black Science? I assume sewn and with the lettering corrected? Also... Sixth Gun is so good, I am picking up #4 this month in anticipation of #5 later this year.
@Nick the Black Science Remastered edition has sown binding, what was the lettering issue? On a side note, Fear Agent is amazing, just finished book one.

You are in for a treat. The second book gets even better. The ending is superb and appropriate.
I finally read Joker: End Game and it was okish... I hadn't read Batman for almost 2 years and Now, i need to read Superheavy to Metal and finish my Snyder Run. I have to admit Court of Owls was amazing but the rest is nothing special okish to very medicore... really. If we count before new 52 The Black Mirror was amazing as well though.

Lots of great pickups from everyone! I've slowed down purchases the last few months and actually sold way more than I bought. Since March I picked up:- Infinity Gauntlet Box Set (sold all my trades I had on this material...may sell my Infinity Gauntlet Omni as well...)
-Dark Knight Returns Box Set (I sold my Absolute Dark Knight and really enjoy this edition more! And besides I despise DKSA)
- Harley and Ivy Dlx
- I Hate Fairyland Book 1
- Daredevil by Waid Omni 2
- Punisher Max by Ennis Onmi 1
- Punisher Max by Arron Omni
- Spiderman by Michelinie and Larsen Omni
- X-Men Classic Omni
- Irredeemable 4 and 5
- Thanos Infinity Siblings
- Tomb Raider Archives 4 (I think I may sell all 4 books once I finish this read)
- Gotham City Sirens Omni
I've got 14 omnibuses (7 DC, 7 Marvel), a few Absolutes and a handful of OHCs, HCs and Oversized books on pre-order through the rest of the year...will likely continue selling off my least favourites.

Nick, one you need to add (coming in late July?) is Hickman's Shield OHC. You needed ideas for more books, right? :p
Has it been confirmed whether that SHIELD HC week just be the second series or both put together?
My understanding is that the first book contained four issues of content. The new book includes those plus issues 5, 6, and an Infinity one-shot. The one shot was $7.50 so I feel like it should have been much longer than a normal issue but I didn't see a page count anywhere.
Can someone update the Shield situation as if I knew nothing? Obviously the Omnibus is old shield stuff? I know this new book is anticipated, but what is the first volume and what’s the best way to get it?
The first volume contains the first (half?) part of Hickman's Shield story. Based on the preview solicit info the new OHC will contain all the previously released material AND the second part of the story. So, at this point I wouldn't bother to pick up the older OHC.

I will keep my ear to the message board for when this thing actually drops.
Also, i dropped Miles Morales and Sorceror Supreme from my previous list to make room for Blacksad and picking up Lazarus DLX 1&2.
Nickviola wrote: "Can someone update the Shield situation as if I knew nothing? Obviously the Omnibus is old shield stuff? I know this new book is anticipated, but what is the first volume and what’s the best way to..."You're right, the Omnibus collects the old school Nick Fury Steranko stuff.
The first Hickman OHC, "Architects of Forever", collects SHIELD (2010) vol. 1 1-6.
The upcoming OHC, "Human Machine" collects SHIELD (2010) vol 2 1-6 and SHIELD Infinity.
The first four issues (and the Infinity issue, which takes place in between the two volumes), of vol. 2 were released in 2011 before the title was put on a loooong hiatus. Issue 5 of vol 2 was finally released last week, and the 6th and final issue is set to be released next week (the official title of the series now being changed from 'SHIELD' to 'SHIELD by Hickman & Weaver')
So yeah, if you're wanting the full story, you'll want to pick up both OHCs.
So....Hickman and Weaver did 12+ issues counting bonus ones and it’s spread between two separate hardcover, SHIELD: Architects of Forever OHC (<$20 on ebay) and now SHIELD by Hickman and Weaver: The Human Machine (not out yet)?

Yes. The Architects of Forever OHC is gorgeous man, definitely worth it.

Precisely. Its a great feeling to know we're finally getting the second half of this run in oversized format (and that we can now turn our focus onto dreaming about a Ultimate Universe by Jonathan Hickman collection)
edit: Amazon.com has Human Machine out on August 7th
I am thinking about it, it’s not picky but I don’t really like hardcovers being this thin, part of me wants to hold out to see if they ever publish the two shield HCs as 1 thicker book.

I have the same preference, that's why I was wondering if the new one was really both put together. My justification was that it seems like it isn't popular enough to print them again in one book but who knows?

Respect to Relstuart for recommending Blacksad, it arrived today and looks beautiful. Can’t wait to start reading tonight. Also, classic Amazon shipped it in a huge box with a 6 pack of Almond milk and cliff bars that are monthly orders. Still, cover is pristine because it is so thick and sturdy, best shape I’ve ever had a book arrive from Amazon despite terrible packing.
Cool, have you read much of those DC silver age? I know they are silver age-y obviously but how’s the presentation?
Nickviola wrote: "Cool, have you read much of those DC silver age? I know they are silver age-y obviously but how’s the presentation?"Not really I've think the books I get is normal Golden Age. Supergirl has very nice art work stories are simple so far.
Just bought V2 of the Waid/Wieringo FF so I can finish reading all of their run. Then I'll decide if I want to turn around and sell them to buy the omnibus or not.
No this is the 616 universe and currently there are three OHCs. Previously I only had V1 and V3 because I couldn't find a good deal on V2. The omnibus collecting all three of these comes out in December.
