I've read Gillen's X-Men run (kinda weird), Loki JIM (pretty good, but didn't blow me away) and Darth Vader (which I really enjoyed).
I'm in for LOW, End League, Planet Hulk, Thor V3, Simonson Thor, Shang Chi V4, MMW Two In One, Absolute World's Greatest Superheroes. I considered Darth Vader but because of money think I will pass.

Which one?"
Teen titans, of course! ;)
Kept it quiet this month picking up the Loki omnibus and Fear Agent Vol 1 LE. Like every one else here I've got loads of preorders for the rest of the year. I was on the fence with Gillen's Vader Omni, too, and decided to pass. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan but I've loved his work to date (I put him in my top 5 authors). For that reason alone I was going to buy it but had to pass simply to manage my budget. Plus I've got to save $1500 for the new iPhone so I'm not stuck with ancient tech....heh, if only.
Overall I like what I've read with rebirth, but for full diving in, I find myself always a few years behind. Is the batman rebirth getting reviews. I consistently pick up the issues from my pull box, but can't ever get to them (having too much fun reading image trades).
I will say, hate the new bat suit, which shouldn't impact my desire to read, but for some reason it does.

Just got Marvel Monsterbus vol. 1, Dr. Strange omnibus vol. 1, Loeb/Sale Yellow, Blue, Gray, OHC, and AD After Death Deluxe hardcover (my first Image title).
Sixth Gun vol 4, nice Cheese! I'm looking forward to picking that up as well. One of my favorite series.
It is the three-in-one oversized hardcover of the yellow/blue/gray. It is the same size as an omnibus but does not say "omnibus" on it.
Ok team, so the more I think about it... I have never read a Hulk comic in my life, I have only heard average things about Planet Hulk/World War Hulk... so I am thinking of passing on both and that ~110 dollars going to getting Sixth Gun Deluxe 2 & 3 plus Deadly Class HC? Thoughts?!
Deadly Class DLX is an extraordinary book and one of my favorite of Remender's works. Dunno how your library is but mine has a few of Pak's Hulk... I almost never buy blind unless I'm 90% sure I'll love it.

I agree with MT that Deadly Class is outstanding, dark, but fantastic. Sixth Gun is a fun read, a unique mix of western and supernatural.
I've never read Planet Hulk, but I did read WWH. It starts off exciting but goes downhill. The payoff isn't there and it served mainly to introduce a new character. Comes off as being a shallow event, IMO.

Super helpful, thanks guys. Sorry I throw out a lot of preference-specific questions to the field but still new with a lot of these stories and appreciate your opinions!
Nick! Planet hulk is a must! It's the ONLY good hulk story IMO. Nobody has done what pak did with Hulk.
kinda late but Planet Hulk and WWH are really meant to be read together. WWH on its own is pretty meh, but in a way it's the culmination of everything that happened in Planet Hulk, which is a fun read. It won't blow your mind by any means and I don't really like the artist in Planet Hulk, but it's a cool run. With that said I'm probably not going to pick up either of them haha, too much stuff coming out in October. The Thor Omni's take precedence for me.
Planet Hulk is excellent. I agree the World War follow up was not nearly as well done. Planet Hulk, Darth Vader, and the Journey Into Mystery (Loki) books are probably my top three out of the books coming out in the next month or so. Part of this is based on the fact I've read all of these though I have not read all the extra material in the Planet Hulk omnibus. I already have the OHCs of Darth Vader and won't be picking up the omnibus.
LOW is also a buy from me as will be the library edition of Remender's The End League.

I'm the opposite on Pak's Hulk. I didn't care for Planet Hulk (though I'm gonna give it a reread) but absolutely loved WWH.
I'm familiar with the character (punisher) but haven't read that much, is it a good place to start picking up the omnibuses that'll be released in a few days?or I'll be good with just 1 of them? Thanks
Punisher by Garth ennis
Punisher Back to war

I have not read Punisher: Back to the War Omnibus, but the material suggests that it is early Punisher material. Now it depends on your test whether you like 60s-70s exposition heavy writing or not. I do not believe that it is essential reading.
On the other hand Garth Ennis gave much needed grit and motivation to Frank Castle. His Punisher Max series is absolutely brilliant (though some time a bit gory), that along side Jason Aaron's Punisher Max series are the benchmark against which all Punisher stories are measured. Punisher by Garth Ennis Omnibus is not quite on the same level, but it is good and should be a great entry point for a new reader like you.
Anyone care to help me, please?I'm a huge boba fett fan, so, in the spirit of the "Force Friday" and what has been a "tradition" from the last years, by this time it's time to set my mind in Star Wars too...(my sons birthday in Halloween, my birthday in November and wife's birthday in December - in time for some Star Wars movie releases) so I'm willing to spend some money in SW comics especially focused in Boba Fett, anyone can point me in the right direction?I don't think there's an Omnibus for (just) Boba Fett but I'm happy if there's some 80% or so focus on the character...
Thanks!
I read the first few volumes of Aaron's SW and Fett has a good amount of page time there. Don't know anything about a standalone Boba Fett series though... Maybe the Dark Horse series?
I'm a big Fett fan myself. Not familiar with any comics focused on him that jump out as being really good though I know there were a few Dark Horse stories featuring him.
I will say that I loved the Karen Travis Star Wars novels from the Clone Wars that tell the story of the clone troopers (Starting with the book Hard Contact). They talk a fair bit about Mandolorian culture that defines Fett.
The Star Wars Legacy run takes place in the far future after the movie timeframe and is very well spoken of. While it isn't Fett it may be a decent gift to look into . They do have some HC collected editions for the run (three IIRC).

Not sure if it's the right place to ask, but, in early 2000's I was buying some comics named "Mega Dragon & Tiger" I have vol.1 and 2 and would like to finish the collection, they were distributed by "Comicsone" that had already disappeared.Anyone can help me with info on the matter?
Thanks
Haven't read any of the older SW honestly. First thing I do is check availability. Chances are it's out of print for being such a small publisher, so you can check eBay and Amazon for used copies. If that doesn't work, try bookfinder.com and that will scour the web for available copies. Hope that helps.
It's going to be an expensive Sept and Oct with all the omnibuses and oversized editions coming, but I picked up a few smaller stories at good prices. Batman Year 100 Dlx
Batman Gotham by Gaslight
I was really surprised by Batman Year 100. Fantastic story and DLX edition. I assume Gaslight is just a paperback?Yeah there are some great books coming out soon. This is my list for upcoming releases.
October
Luthor Strode DLX
Sebastian O DLX
I hate fairyland vol 3 TPB
November
Batman and Robin omnibus
Paper Girls DLX
Batman Hush DLX
Batman / The Shadow DLX
Batman Year 2 DLX
