Between now and the start of the toppler I am going to read One Hundred Ways for a Cat to Train Its Human. It's nice and short so should be perfect pre-toppler reading.

I'm watching the movie and it is quite interesting so was wondering if the book is the same.

Thank you Sandra.

Glad to hear you recommend these Roz :) I have The House at Riverton sitting on my TBR pile and The Distant Hours is currently on my wishlist.

The House at Riverton is her first novel. A friend just lend it to me last week so I plan to read it soon.

It just occurred to me that Kakagi Lake, where we spent a lovely summer week camping a number of years ago, is also known as Crow Lake. Kakagi Lake is in Ontario and the book is set in Ontario. It will be interesting to see if they are the same lake.

I will be starting at noon: Made to Be Broken and The Miracle at Speedy Motors (audio); both for the toppler and the series challenge.

I'm still reading Middlemarch and I really like the story, but the book is longer than I realized, and am having to set it aside as my "Sunday Only" book, so I can press forward with the other books I've committed to reading this year.

Had to jump on this one. Ordered it from Amazon since I couldn't get it from the library.

I also want to read Ready Player One. I keep hearing great things about it.

I hope you enjoy it too Debra.

It is very good. If you are not a gamer, but know a little of 80´s memes, is yet more fun

What a concidence! I just finised it too, and was wondering if if it was worth reading the whole series

I just finished Anne of Green Gables, and I thought it was delightful, and as I've been reading a lot of sci fi, supernatural, and fantasy, it was a great change of pace.

Good ! Ranger is mine..... ;)

I have now made a start on my second toppler book, Jackaby.
