I finished The Forgotten Garden which I really enjoyed. It was my first Kate Morton book and definitely will not be my last.

Between now and the start of the toppler I am going to read One Hundred Ways for a Cat to Train Its Human. It's nice and short so should be perfect pre-toppler reading.

I finished One Hundred Ways for a Cat to Train Its Human. It was a fun, humorous little book packed full of anecdotes about our furry friends. I think it would make a purrfect (sorry, couldn't resist) gift for cat lovers everywhere. I gave it 4 stars.

I'll be starting two books today, both for the Toppler - Wayward and Crow Lake.

It just occurred to me that Kakagi Lake, where we spent a lovely summer week camping a number of years ago, is also known as Crow Lake. Kakagi Lake is in Ontario and the book is set in Ontario. It will be interesting to see if they are the same lake.

Oops - I had the Wikipedia page up about Kakagi Lake as I was typing my post above. I just scrolled further down the page and it reads, "Although the book is set in Northern Ontario, Crow Lake is not actually about Kakagi (Crow) Lake." I guess that answers that question.

So I'm just starting So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish in an effort to close in on my first serial killer level. And, I'm listening to the audio book of Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe because I've wanted to read it for a while, and fits in with the February Challenge.

I'm still reading Middlemarch and I really like the story, but the book is longer than I realized, and am having to set it aside as my "Sunday Only" book, so I can press forward with the other books I've committed to reading this year.

Reading Ready Player One for the toppler. Am pleasantly surprised at how good it is, and I'm not a gamer. I'm totally caught up in the story.

Currently reading Dollbaby for the toppler. So far, it's really good. I've read a few books in this genre lately though, so I'm glad that my next book, The Wonder of All Things, is a different topic.

I also want to read Ready Player One. I keep hearing great things about it.

I have finished Anne of Green Gables. I was pleasantly surprised with the audio version. I remember as a kid not being able to get into the book version. I liked the audio a lot better.
