I always start with a 52 book goal- I tend to average between 65-72.
They tend to be ebooks and audio at at 50/50 split.
I get almost all my audio from the library ( I have cards at 3 of my local online libraries).
My sub goals include those of the past - to make a point to review, write down my thoughts on each book. and to work may way through the books on the kindle I inherited from my mother as well as some of the backlog on my own.
New goals - DNF books that I am not getting into- there are too many books to waste my time forcing myself to finish something that I "should" read or they are on one of the Kindles.
I try to pick up a few classics a year-- ie books that in theory I "should" have read in highschool but never did, part of the Great American read list mainly because they are referred to in discussions or other books-
I also want to pick up a few books that stretch my knowledge-- which is difficult since i hate reading non fiction so it either has to be a novel that opens my eyes to something or non fiction that reads like fiction..
