Hope you got some bargins.
My daughter took me to a recycle center the other day, She gets a lot of paint and cleaning products and more. No charge for some counties and I am one of the counties. A limit of 10 items once a week. People can drop off items instead of going to the land.
Anyway, the county libraries also sent their books and I picked up 5 audio books and 2 books.

That sounds really good! I'm trying to avoid buying books of any type right now until I have read at least some of the ones on my TBR shelf!

Hope you are feeling much better.

so sorry to hear that. Being too sick to read is dreadful

Thanks Angela. That looks really interesting.

We had the typical Shrove Tuesday pancakes that are more like crepes, and we eat them for dessert with sugar and lemon juice.

I do not believe in banning books or censorship, but after trying to read The Grave Tender, by Eliza Maxwell, I think that maybe there should be some kind of warning.
At the beginning of a movie or television show, you get a warning about graphic content. This book contains rape, brutality and paedophilia, which you don't find out until you are actually reading it. It would have been nice to know that before I actually read the book.
Again, I am not saying to ban the book, or censor it, but just give people a small warning before they even read it.

Yes I think that is fair.

I totally agree. Years ago I won a book that had two children missing. The end of the book had the childen in a snuff movie and even though the book was hard to read, that was not what I expected. I threw away the book.

Good question, Becky.

I can honestly say that donating them to those in need is so much more satisfying than selling them.
