Terrific, and you're welcome! I'm actually less of a fan of her Wexford series novels but her standalones are pretty good.

Finished An Advancement of Lear[book:Entanglementning|1156954]
by Reginald Hill It is the second in the long running Dalziel and Pascoe series. I did enjoy it but the solution was a bit of a stretch for me. 3 stars.

A Judgement in Stone by Ruth Rendell
The Red Door
by Charles ToddIn this 12th book in the series, Inspector Rutledge - a Scotland Yard detective after WW I - investigates a very baffling murder. The book can be read as a standalone.
Good story but overly contrived. 3 stars

Credible Threat
by J.A. JanceIn this 15th book in the 'Ali Reynolds' series, the security expert protects a Catholic Archbishop whose life has been threatened. The book works fine as a standalone.

Holy Lies: Part One. Gripping with unexpected twists: An entangled web of lies, corruption, sex, blackmail and revengeJust finished, amazing!!!
A Game of Ghosts
by John ConnollyCharlie Parker #15, OK to read as stand-alone but some prior knowledge of the personnel and prior events would be helpful. Parker is tasked by an FBI agent to find a missing PI. This book is a combination mystery and ghost story and is, in my opinion, an amazing literary feat. Highly recommended, 5 stars.
I just finished listening to In the Morning I'll Be Gone
Here's my four star review:

It was just different enough for me to appreciate it, but I'd probably give it the same rating. Actually I did read it earlier to familiarize myself with the novel before the newest tv version of this came out, and I was much more disappointed by the film, which I thought was just awful. At least Miss Marple wasn't in it -- in one older tv version, the powers that be put her at the center.

I've read most of Christie's books but I think I missed this one. I guess no great loss. 🙂

Taking the Fifth
by J.A. JanceIn this 4th book in the 'J.P. Beaumont' series, the Seattle homicide detective investigates two suspicious deaths. The book can be read as a standalone.
Beaumont isn't at his best in this book. 2 stars

Hi Five
by Joe IdeIn this 4th book in the IQ series, the California investigator looks into the murder of an arms dealer's right-hand-man.
The book refers to events in previous stories, but the salient details are explained well enough that the book works fine as a standalone.
Interesting characters. 3 stars

Just finished and enjoyed House of Glass: The story and secrets of a twentieth-century Jewish family
My Review: www.goodreads.com/review/show/3352791609
The Mercedes Coffin
by Faye KellermanPeter Decker #17, OK to read as stand-alone. LAPD detective investigates cold case with similarities to another recent murder. I was not impressed at all with this book. The numerous characters are not well defined and the plot is not only confusing but includes numerous long boring passages of aimless conversations. 2 stars, not recommended.
