League of Denial: The NFL, Concussions and the Battle for Truth by Mark Fainaru-Wada - I tried reading this one when it first came out late in 2013, but just never finished it. Really glad I finished it this time - great story.

Enough: Our Fight to Keep America Safe From Gun Violence by Gabrielle Giffords and Mark Kelly. One of the things I wanted to do this year was read more about the gun ownership debate in the United States - it's something my husband is very interested in and I wanted to learn more about it so I could understand his perspective better. This provided an interesting view from two people who are very much pro-responsible gun ownership and at the same time, pro-stronger restrictions.
